Rating: 5

My name is Dr. Paul Lynn and I have followed Forever Safe's progress with great interest. They are a multi-species animal sanctuary which provided safe, stable forever homes for animals which have been abused, neglected or confiscated by law enforcement. In the past several years, their education programming and outreach to the community has increased significantly. The sponsor and host one of Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots K-12 programs of which there are only a few in Ohio. They have a certified therapeutic riding program called Equine Exposure which provides therapeutic riding services to children and adults with disabilities. During 2013, Forever Safe initiated a program with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to rehabilitate several acres of wetland for local wildlife and save it from agricultural runoff. I am very proud to have spent time with their very professional and knowledgeable staff. They have attracted some very qualified volunteers in a number of disciplines related to the sanctuary work they do. They have worked hard to get the certifications they possess and Forever Safe very much defines Best Practice in the field. Kudos to Forever Safe Farm Animal Education Center! If you get a chance, go see it, you will never find another multi-species animal sanctuary like it.
