Mission: Fbhc was formed for the purpose of promoting, developing and managing low and moderate income housing, providing assistance to low income families and combating community deterioration in the fordham bedford section and surrounding areas of the northwest bronx.
Programs: Fbhc provided direct mgmt for low income housing buildings, and over 3,600 families have benefited from this service.
through its affiliates, fbhc provides day care services and food nutrition education to the community with the support from new york city administrative for children's services.
fbhc is providing social service to the community. This consists of after-school programs, summer recreational activities for the children, english as a second language and citizenship courses, among others.
