While volunteer opportunities with De Paul can be limited at times, their work is top notch. As a community volunteer and friend of parents with a teenager with addiction issues, I know that they were very satisfied with the treatment and care their child received. They have a wonderful family program. Regardless of the client's age, including family or caring friends in the recovery process has proven to produce good results for clients and their families. Volunteers are always needed to serve on committees to organize events, help raise funds, work on projects, etc. They are respected by their peers and the community alike.

Mission: Fora Health provides treatment, care and advocacy for all who are affected by substance use disorder. We envision communities where every person affected by substance use disorder has access to the support needed to emerge from this disease. Where healthcare systems become advocates for hope. Where stigma ceases to exist.
Target demographics: Youth, adults and families find hope and healing through treatment of substance use disorders.
Geographic areas served: The Portland, OR Metropolitan Area, serving all of Oregon and SW Washington.
Programs: Residential and Outpatient Treatment For Youth and Adults: Established as an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1977, Fora Health, formerly De Paul Treatment Centers, is one of Oregon’s oldest and largest nonprofit providers of drug and alcohol treatment with co-occurring mental health diagnoses for adults and youth. We are the only residential addiction treatment center in the metro area accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and have maintained this status since 2001. Fora Health's services include medical withdrawal management, residential treatment and outpatient services. We offer family counseling, peer services, relapse prevention, mental health care, and DUII services.
