For Paws Hospice

When I was in need of a loaner chair for Lego, this organization had a chair sent out to me in no time!!! I can’t thank them enough.

For Paws Hospice is such an amazing organization! They helped us with wheels for our 3 legged boy with an autoimmune disease, after we were financially tapped from spending thousands on diagnostics and treatments. They sent us a cart, custom made, all the way to Canada, so our boy could be mobile again. He has since crossed over the rainbow bridge, and we have sent his wheels back to this wonderful organization for another animal in need. Words cannot express my gratitude. The world needs more organizations like this!

For Paws Hospice is a phenomenal organization assisting families with their pets' needs. This organization has stepped forward to help owners who are ill and cannot appropriately care for their companion animal by offering food, providing referrals to veterinarians, pet sitters, groomers, trainers, massage therapists and other pet service providers that have agreed to discount their costs. Pets who can no longer walk on their own receive assistance through FPH's wheelchair database as well. This non profit provides a much needed service to families throughout the United States.

this is a service that is sorely needed and such a wonderful service to people and their animals! The work of Angels!

For Paw Hospice contacted my non profit in Minnesota to inquire about pacemakers that could be used for dogs. They had a need and I had information. I am proud to call Harlan a friend and provide emotional-long-distance support via the Facebook page!

For Paws Hospice , an honorable and dedicated organization. Harlan and Nancy are bringing a wonderful relief to those in need of help for their beloved pets or their own respet during personal illness. As a volunteer I took in temporarely two precious older dogs for a lady going in for cancer surgery. She said, " God doesn't do....He sends." Indeed He did , He sent For Paws , Thankyou....

I can't say enough about For Paws Hospice. This organization was the only one that would help me with a rescue named "Beau". For Paws Hospice puts the needs of animals first.

I am a veterinary technician student and I specialize in canine gerontology and hospice care. I am on the local advisory council of our hospice paws program which promotes pet therapy to the human hospice patients. I also volunteer with Grey Muzzle Organization and have had the pleasure of meeting several members of FOR PAWS HOSPICE at events. I don't think I have been as impressed by any other group of people in their dedication and drive. No doubt the world needs more people to care about animals ...all through their lives. They are not items to be tossed away when we are done with them. These people are so very compassionate and knowledgable but sadly underfunded as an organization. I mostly appreciate the education they provide the public not to mention a way for people to come to terms with dying and death for themselves and their companions.

There has been a real need in this community for a reach out to elderly or sick individuals with financial constraints or lack of knowledge of where to turn for assistance with their pets. As with most communities there has also been a need to help pets that can't help themselves. For Paws Hospice has found so many in-roads to help the community, from educational, to helping with transport, food and pet supplies, and financial help, to helping cancer patients, find carts for paralyzed dogs, and linking with other professionals for medical or surgical assistance who are also looking to help the pet population.

For PAWS is an incredible organization. Their dedication to their mission, vision and values in helping pets and families in need is commendable. They are an open-minded organization with talented, energetic founders.
One of the most impressive qualities about For PAWS is their ability to use their creative energy and problem solving to find ways to get things done... their optimism is a blessing.

For Paws Hospice is an amazing non-profit organization, run by truly dedicated and amazing people! They provide much needed services not only locally but wherever needed across the US. When you see Harlan & Nancy's passion for what they do it is inspiring. Working with them this past year on a volunteer basis has been wonderful. So glad we've met them. We were able to hear first hand stories of how they've been able to not only help owners keep the pets they love, but also assist those that are grieving the loss of their beloved family friend. Remarkable orginization and all around wonderful, genuine people.

For Paws helped me stay positive and work towards my goal of getting my dog Pearl's leg surgery. Without them it would have been a very lonely and daunting task. Now she's on the mend and the donations are helping to pay off the vet bill. Thanks for helping to keep us together!

I donated a doggie wheel chair to For Paws Hospice. It was in very rough shape. They refurbished it and now a dog out in California is able to walk around and play due to their outstanding commitment to disabled pets.

Harlan and Nancy are two of the most dedicated people I know who go above and beyond to help folks and their pets have long, enjoyable lives together. It has been such an honor and pleasure getting to know them and see their vision for reaching as many families in need as they possibly achieve.

As a concerned citizen and animal rescuer, For Paws Hospice is an excellent community service organization. In the past couple of years, we have taken in perfectly lovable pets that have been dumped or abandoned due to economic hardship or just callousness. Whatever the reason, I know there have to be a percentage of those that would have preferred to keep their pets with some temporary assistance instead of surrendering or abandoning them.

Keep up the hearfilled efforts.

For Paws Hospice is known as a "port in the storm" for the clients who have reached out for assistance. Every client is appreciative of the help received. Service providers are always willing to go the extra mile for For Paws Hospice clients. The organization has received only positive feedback from every interaction. This group fills a tremendous need in the community, not just locally but across the United States.

I became acquainted with For Paws Hospice, Inc. a few months ago through Facebook and their involvement in the animal community, not only in our metropolitan area, but reaching out to animals and families in need across the nation, and offering their services, care, and expertise. I find them to be an organization of extreme integrity, pride, dedication, and commitment to their cause. I am a resident of Pinellas County FL, where For Paws Hospice is based, and I look forward to future involvement and personal support to their mission.

For Paws Hospice is absolutely one of the best organizations I have had the pleasure of working with. They work effortlessly to provide shelter medical care and save the lives of many animals.

Nancy and Harlan of Four Paws Hospice helped our L.H. Chihuahua (Gizmo) when she was crippled. We were so afraid that we would have to put her down due to her not being able to walk, and us not being able to afford the rehabilitation. They came through for her and us. We are ever so greatful the this organization.

they saved my rottie Angel....she at 13 1/2 yrs due to arthritis lost the ability to walk I was her legs until they lent me a doggy wheelchair for her...they were a blessing....u should have seen her face light up
when she had her "legs" again...wonderful giving people.
