Please ignore the one negative review posted recently. As manager of one of Ventura County's largest family foundations, I believe that Food Share is a very well run non-profit that effectively helps meet the needs of the poor and indigent in our community. Our foundation has invested more than $500,000 in Food Share since 2006.

FOOD Share is a key nonprofit organization in Ventura County. Never have I heard a nonprofit organization say, we are in business to put ourselves out of business. Every day they are tackling the issue of hunger in our community. Every day they are trying to find ways to assist those who are food deficient. The team of staff and volunteers at FOOD Share are wonderful. They are a fantasic organization to volunteer with as well. Their operating cost are very minimal and I know that when I donate to FOOD Share, that my money is being used to support my local community and provide food for someone who is in need. They are very transparent with their operations, which is something that I look for in a charity that I align myself with.

I have worked with FOOD Share for 2 years and without any questions have found the organization to be a real thought-leader in what they do. FOOD Share works in collaboration with many other organizations to help irradicate the base issue of hunger. The CEO and employees are passionate about what they do and take great measures to be the very best in the field.
