Causes: Coronavirus Relief Food Banks, Emergency Assistance, Food, Food Banks & Pantries, Human Services

Mission: Provide food to all in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs.

Results: Since 1984, when our Food Bank was founded, we have distributed enough food for more than 130 million meals! Each year, our fresh food pantries serve more than 30,000 unduplicated individuals; our Nourishing Network program saves partnering nonprofit agencies $2 million in food costs; and our Nutritious Kitchen provides more than 200,000 meals and snacks to children and older adults facing hunger. All of this is made possible by many, many generous donors and more than 3,500 dedicated volunteers. We couldn't do it without you!

Geographic areas served: Larimer County

Programs: drive-through Fresh Food Share pantries, Nutritious Kitchen meals for children and older adults, and a Nourishing Network that provides food to more than 100 other nonprofit food programs throughout Larimer County

My employer encourages us to volunteer and this is my favorite non-profit place to give my time. There is something special about giving a time and when walking out you see the lines of people waiting to get in to pick up food that will feed themselves and their family.
