Nonprofit Overview
Mission: To produce and present quality community theater to encourage and promote educational and literary performing arts projects for all segments of the tri-county population, and to provide a venue for thespians, artists, technicians and other creative people to practice their craft.
Programs: During the past year, the flowertown players offered six productions for the community as well as two productions especially for children. The underground produced three productions for adults 20-30 years of age.
the flowertown players continued growth within the theater by creating a sub-group for the 20-something crowd to participate as a working board producing plays, workshops, and late night cabarets where everyone who auditions performs. The flowertown players also provided a venue for a new improvisational group and increased the number of classes and workshops available for all ages and maintained a successful 3 week summer camp.
flowertown players created a joint fundraiser with the dorchester museum called living history.
