Mission: A united voice on behalf of all children to promote and encourage quality professional family child care through education, legislation, advocacy, mentoring, caring and love.
Programs: Annual conference is held each year for child care providers and agencies for the purpose of training and education. Approximately 329 providers & agency representatives registered for the annual conference & pre-conference training sessions. 95 scholarships for registration were awarded. The 3-day conference offered 51 - 75-minute registry approved training sessions in both english & spanish including 4 general sessions with several keynote speakers, the 3-day pre-conference sessions offered extensive specialized training. Also, a provider celebration and a nafcc accreditation presentation were held. Grants were for registration scholarships, keynote speakers fees and program books and flyers.

information disseminationthe publications include information on quality care, professional development opportunities, credentials and certifications. They are also posted to our website, available at the state conference and meetings, and to be disseminated in our informational packets and yearly mailings to other organizations such as the early learning coalitions, some military providers and staff, legislators, usda food program sponsors, community & state colleges offering early child hood courses, local resource and referral agencies, local licensing offices, and other local or statewide supporters. Created 3 issues (16-24 pages each) 2,510 total copies of newsletter, the grapevine, during the months of march, june, and december. Developed and printed 7,000 conference brochures, the brochure was disseminated to the registered and licensed family child care providers, early learning coalitions, community and state colleges offering early childhood courses, usda food program sponsors, ffccha advocate members, and available at our displays at state meetings, local early childhood conferences and at the capitol in april for childrens week. Printed 375 color 2 sided copies of our enhancing our minds conference program books. Developed and printed 6,000 save the date for 2018, 2-sided flyers distributed to conference attendees and early learning coalitions and available at our displays at state meetings, local early childhood conferences and at the capitol in april for childrens week. Purchases & distributed 45 resources books
