Mission: Restoring dreams, renewing hope and rebuilding lives by providing services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, human traficking, poverty, addiction, and community outreach.
Programs: Offers services to the homeless with weekly food giveaways at multiple locations throughout pinellas county. Florida dream center, with a team of volunteers, fed and provided entertainment for over 300 persons during the annual thanksgiving giveaway at the homeless shelter in pinellas county; and operates a mobile food truck that delivers food to eight areas of the community. The organization has many outreach efforts feeding the homeless on a regular basis.
florida dream center assists in the funding of multiple safe homes for survivors of sex trafficking; protects and restores the lives of adult women, domestic minor girls and a 72 hour emergency intake home. Also directly involved in the rescue of over a 100 victims of sex trafficking in the past several years through relationships with law enforcement and other agencies in the state, and other services. Received donations of cash, property and legal services for use in aquiring and developing safe homes. 190,668 of a grant of 250,000 is temporarily retricted for the boys safe house.
adopt-a-block reaches out to the community of pinealls county, adopting specific communities in need of assitance. Over 100 volunteers enter the communities every saturday to provide nearly everything that the community is in need of, including street clean-up, home repairs, lawn maintenance and other services. Received donations of cash supplies, and sanitation services for neighborhood cleanup.
