I used florida boxer rescue to find my female dog a brother. They are great. Mary worked with me to find a good fit for our family. I would definitely recommend them if you are a fellow boxer lover and looking for a fur baby addition to your home.

We adopted a wonderful little girl in October. She had had a rough life until taken in by Florida Boxer Rescue. With FBR's love, kindness & knowledgable volunteers, our girl was given the medical treatment she needed to become ready for her forever home. Her foster mom was STUPENDOUS , following up on our girl's medical progress,,and we could tell she truly wanted what was best for the dog. We had the opportunity to meet with or talk to several of the volunteers as we met or considered which dog would best fit into our family, and each was friendly, knowledgable and were strong assets to FBR. We have dealt with several rescue organizations in the past, and this one was the cream of the crop. We had such a positive experience that we will now volunteer for this group. We are proud to become part of a first class Rescue. We would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a Boxer.

Went to a Florida Boxer Rescue event in 2013, came home and immediately completed an application to foster this sweet girl, Roxanne, whose story had just won my heart. Didn't get the girl bc she couldn't be with any other dogs and I already had a Boxer baby, but have fostered almost 15 dogs since. Coming on 2 years of volunteering with FBR now, and it has truly been the most rewarding experience I could ever had imagined. FBR is a amazing organization, one that I have been blessed to be a part of, and hope to one day even foster flunk from :)

I am proud to have been part of Florida Boxer Rescue since 2007 as a volunteer, foster mom and adopter. I have, to date, fostered over 40 boxers and have been adopted by 3 wonderful dogs through FBR.

In a nutshell, the organization can be summed up by the statement: "Love is Adoptable". In addition to rescuing/rehabilitating and rehoming this often misunderstood breed, FBR also strives to educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership through spaying/neutering, regular medical care including year-round heartworm preventative. We educate the public about the dangers of advertising pets for sale on sites such as Craigslist. FBR also assists owners, wherever possible, to be able to keep their pets by providing resources for medical assistance, behavioral training, etc.

The people who make up this organization are amazing and completely devoted to the Rescue Mission and the teamwork it takes to Rescue.

I became a volunteer with Florida Boxer Rescue shortly after adopting a female Boxer in 2011. Their adoption application process is thorough from start to finish, with volunteers assisting in finding the right match. Our female Belle is perfect for us in every way. She is such a good dog, and is so loving toward everyone that I was drawn to become a volunteer to help save more Boxers.

Another fact we like about FBR is that it is a 501C organization made up of 100% volunteers. There are no paid positions, and no one involved in this organization receives one penny in compensation, or reimbursement. 100% of the money raised pays the medical expenses of the dogs rescued. I like knowing exactly where donated money is going.

Volunteers donate their time in working events, training dogs, and pay their own expenses such as transporting, food, bedding, toys etc.
FBR uses foster homes for their Boxers so that they can get to know their personalities and match them with the right applicants. Foster parents are directly involved in adoptions and often keep in contact with the families that adopt.

I will continue to volunteer as much as I can with a full time work schedule, and I will not hesitate to adopt again from Florida Boxer Rescue.

FBR is the most amazing rescue I have worked with. I first came in contact with FBR at an event before I became a volunteer. I signed up to be a foster flunked at that and have been working with FBR for 5 years now. I kmow how more responsibility and I love it! I have adopted two dogs from FBR and will continue to adopt in the future. FBR does whatever it takes to find an app the right dog. FBR also does whatever it takes to help a boxer in need. I can't say enough good things about FBR. If you looking for a boxer or a volunteer opportunity FBR is your rescue!
