Mission: It is the mission of the florida bankers educational foundation to serve as a financial resource for florida college students seeking a career in banking.
Programs: The foundation grants scholarship/loan assistance to college students who intend to pursue a career in banking. All loans granted contain a forgiveness feature which states that after a student graduates from college, the loan will be forgiven if the graduate completes one year of full-time continuous employment with a florida bank. In 2016 - 2017, the foundation granted 5 scholarships/loans for $11,125 and forgave 4 scholarships/loans for $21,762.
