Mission: The Florida Horse Park is fulfilling a need in the local community and the national and international equestrian community. In the state of Florida, the Park is proving to be an economic driver for the local and state economy. Because of the growth of the winter equestrian season in Florida and the diminishing availability of private lands to hold shows, the Horse Park, situated on 500 acres of state-owned land, gives Olympians and future Olympians the assurace that they have a place to compete and train for many generations. The Park has already been named an official training facility for the United States Equestrian Eventing Team and has formed a partnership with Central Florida Community College to act as a hands-on classroom for its Equine Studies program.
