Fishing for Families in Need is an extraordinary organization. A lot of charities have a goal of “helping” society but many lack directions. F4FN teaches kids about fishing and marine biology which may not seem like much, but if you break it down, it has a huge impact. I

Fishing for Families in Need is an extraordinary organization. A lot of charities have a goal of “helping” society but many lack directions. F4FN teaches kids about fishing and marine biology which may not seem like much, but if you break it down, it has a huge impact. I was able to witness first hand the joy being brought to the kids when Nick (Executive Director of F4FN) taught them about different marine species and used interactive, hands on methods to get the class more involved. This had the kids on the kids on the edge of their seats waiting to learn how to fish. Many of the kids were able to successfully operate the fishing equipment on their own after one lesson and this left a huge impact. By teaching kids how to fish you are allowing them to find food, business, and a hobby. The opportunity cost is very positive as a day of fishing could keep the kids away from other troubles that many teenagers experiences and this is a wonderful thing. I hope to see F4FN branch out because I can truly say I have witnessed its magic.
F4FN is an incredible organization truly making a significant societal change. I'm excited to see how they continue to better the community and make a positive difference!
Great instructors who find creative ways to teach and engage children in marine science programs. They cater science education to a wide range of ages.
I’ve supported the charity for 10 years - I love seeing how many kids they’re able to teach about responsible angling and marine ecosystems. Simply the best!
A program that is truly with the best interest of the individuals being served at heart. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for F4FN and everyone it helps!
