Life is not always easy. Kids seem to come and go these days, families ripped apart. First steps parenting advocacy center has stepped in and has done something about it. With their STEP ad PEP classes families are becoming educated and self sufficient and leave feeling accomplished. Probviding basic essentials not every family has access too has also really impacted my life. Right when you want to give up, First Steps PAC is right there to help any way they can.

I have seen so many families changed and assisted through Pregnancy Care! I left with tears of joy on some confidential cases, where clients were truly grateful, coming in with empty hands and leaving with hope.

This agency helps anyone in need. From diapers to clothing, education classes for parents and pregnant women, to the client choice food pantry that serves clients on a once per month basis, this place is so helpful!! The staff and interns are also able to refer their clients to other area agencies that can help families in other areas as well. Keep up the good work, First Steps: Parenting Advocacy Center (formerly Pregnancy Care).

Pregnancy Care is an amazing agency that helps so many families in times of need. The positive impact this agency makes on families in the community is what makes me so proud to be in this field. Starting my internship in 2013, I have fallen in love with all of the services that Pregnancy Care provides for clients. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a client smile because you made a difference in their life by helping them.

My son chose this non-profit as a summer volunteer opportunity for a church commitment years ago. I have stayed with the organization since, and was then asked to become a board member. The staff is outstanding, and I have seen first-hand clients (moms and dads) that use the services, which makes the experience real. Pregnancy Center is a place of support that assists families in a tangible way. I love it there.

I have been interning with Pregnancy Care since January and the experience so far has been more than amazing. We do our best to help each and every person that walks through the door with anything they need. If we can't help them in house we find them the resources else where in Summit County. Pregnancy Care has truly helped me grow as a professional and I can't wait to use everything I have learned and experienced here in my future career.

They bring their own style to everything they do. I have learned so much from interning here and it has been such an honor to be here.

I have been lucky enough to intern for this agency for the past two semesters. The work that Pregnancy Care does is truly one of a kind. Seeing the difference this agency makes in people's lives is what makes me love coming in each day. This internship has taught me so much and I will value everything I have learned here as I go on into my career as a social worker in the future.

I started with Pregnancy Care as an intern in 2014 and was lucky enough to be hired on in 2015. I have gained so much experience through my time here. We pride ourselves on being a "one stop shop," but if there are services you need that we can't assist you with, we do our best to link you up with an agency who can. We provide so much from prenatal, parenting, and life skills education, material goods services for newborns through kindergarten age, a client choice food pantry, maternity and career clothing, and so much more. I am so glad that I am able to have this opportunity!

I am very lucky to be doing my social work internship with Pregnancy Care. The amount of services we offer is immense. If we can't help you we find a place that will. I have been given the privilege to work with the clients that come in. I wouldn't want to be at any other internship.

I was lucky enough to do my senior internship with Pregnancy Care of Summit County where I got to see first hand how much of an impact you can make on someone's life by providing them with not only material help but the education and guidance in the direction they may need. It is incredible the amount of love and passion that the women who run this agency have for this field and It was (is) a great feeling being so proud of where I was doing my internship - the amount of time and love that has gone in to this place is incredible. Nothing but love and good things to say!

I had the most amazing internship experience at Pregnancy Care that prepared me for the work I hoped to do after graduating from college. We worked intensely with mothers and their families to get them on the path to living self sufficient lives. The services they provide have been imitated but NEVER duplicated. I gained invaluable knowledge of the field and great friends which I am very thankful for.

I have been extremely impressed with this non-judgmental organization and what they stand for. They always keep the needs of the family in the forefront of all of their decision making. Their system of earning materials through education is a great way to assist in keeping families safe. I am so very proud to be a part of this experience and watching all of the great families that have been helped. They are a blessing to their community.

I was unable to buy my daughter clothes for school this year. I was first directed to another "pregnancy center", but after a bad experience that left me heartsick I tried 211 again.. I left this welcoming place with my dignity in tact and a four year old who still can't stop talking about the sweet purple haired girl and the suckers

I volunteered as a professional trainer in the area of job preparation, interviews and resume writing for about 1 year. The young mothers who came through Pregnancy Care were so engaged and responsive, asking questions and working on aspects of job preparation that would prepare them after their babies were born. I was most inspired by the activities and programs offered to the moms. Clothing, furniture, Infant care training, making crib sheets for cribs, diapiers, WIC program. There is an enormous need for volunteers to give loving and kind treatment of these young women who so desperately need mentors to guide them. I am grateful that I could be a part of this organization, if only for a short while

I went in so I could receive proof of pregnancy, but walked away with a feeling that there were angels walking on earth. As I explained my story, I was received with open arms and information to help me in my pregnancy walk. I would highly recommend this organization to other moms who are in need of a helping hand and caring heart.
