Mission: The mission of casa advocates for kids is to provide volunteer advocate guardians ad litem to work on behalf of abused and neglected children in the first judicial court system of montana and to undertake activities necessary for the promotion of these children's safety, well-being and permanency.
Programs: Child advocacy: 65 trained volunteers and casa staff supported the needs of 262 children in cases before the first judicial district court. Most grants and contributions received by casa are not restricted, but support the organization's mission as a whole. Casa internally allocates funding to match program spending and devotion of staff time and resources.
volunteer training and support: trained 16 new volunteers to be advocates for abused and neglected children in dependent negligence cases. Held quarterly training and support sessions for 59 volunteers, ending the year with 65 volunteers.
