We got our GP farm dog Tsuki with help of FCHS and it was such a good experience! I called them looking for a GP and within a few days, they got us in touch with the family who was wanting to rehome her and helped us with vaccinations, spay and and streamlined everything else needed so that Tsuki would not have to stay at the rescue and could come to us right out of surgery! Tsuki is such a good dog and has transformed from a 100 percent indoor dog to a farm dog! Thank you for your help and all you do for the animals!

We have adopted 2 dogs (one of which was at a greatly reduced cost due to her being a possible pitbull mix). We have also adopted 1 foster dog after her heartworm positive medical needs were mostly resolved. These interactions are over a span of 17 years from the Finney county humane society; 2 of the dogs are still with us (sadly our collie passed from old age a few years ago). The staff and volunteers work very hard; they have big hearts for all the animals they care for. From 2004 (our first adoption) until now, they have made drastic improvements to the program. Picture of our current pups; the one in the middle and on the right are from the Finney county humane society (the pup on the left was from a rescue).

The Finney County Humane society goes above and beyond for our furry, feathery, and scaly friends. They have worked hard to make sure that animals are placed in loving permanent homes through reference checks and a thorough application process. The staff is always friendly and willing to help, no matter what the problem. They host low-cost spay/neuter clinics and vaccination clinics. They are the best and I'm so glad to have them in our community.

Finney Co. Humane Society is one of the best around. We have adopted two dogs from them over the past 10 years. We have had excellent experiences each time. The staff truly goes above and beyond to find forever homes for all the animals that come through their door.

We have adopted a couple of dogs from Finney County Humane Society over the last 12 year. We adopted Brandie ( the boxer) in 2008. She was an abused girl of about 2 yes old. Had been bred and bred. She lived to be 12 years old. She was a great girl.

This last January we adopted Mollie (catahoula) She is very active and full of energy but fits perfectly into our little family.

FCHS goes ablove and beyond to keep animals off the streets, needed medical attention, good forever homes and has a great foster program and many rescue organizations they work to ensure all animals get a fighting chance. They are amazing angels that are doing God's work..

I became deathly ill and could no longer care for my beloved dog. Finney County Humane Society took him in and found him a home for me. The staff is so kind and compassionate. Not only towards the animals but also us owners when things happen out of our control. I now volunteer by helping with transports, etc. for the shelter.

We have adopted four dogs and one cat from Finney County Animal Shelter. We have also become a foster home for dogs and cats when we are available because of the compassion and care that this wonderful organization gives to all God's creatures who enter their doors. The staff is incredible and work so hard to feed, water, exercise, and doctor the animals. They work with so many rescues to find loving and suitable homes. They even offer a cremation service for those of us who have lost our fur babies. We recommend them highly.
