Mission: We bring focus to community health issues via data analysis, community engagement and solution implementation through community collaboration and partnership.
Programs: During 2017-18, common ground health's metrics advisory committee (mac) completed its initial work and was approved to continue for 2 more years with a focus on informing cross-sectoral data sharing initiatives and priority setting for health metrics reporting. A new structure includes 2 annual meetings with a subcommittee meeting more frequently. The agency also completed the analysis for the health equity assessment and resident health survey instruments and methodology tools were reviewed with internal and external partners. The regional consortium on healthcare workforce completed its phase 2 report and recommended continued engagement of regional stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop regional responses to state policy initiatives, as well as increased stakeholder communications through the collaborative platform. Agency staff continued the work of the regional high blood pressure collaborative and the healthi kids initiative.
