My sister passed away recently, and she had multiple birds at her home. Because she was ill for so long the birds were not properly taken care of. Before I could even get to her house after her passing the animal shelter had already picked them all up. I gave Fine Feathered Friends authorization to pick all the birds up, which they did the same day. I have been in touch with this organization several times, and now the birds are all healthy and happy, and living the life. I almost didn’t recognize them when pictures of them were sent to me recently because they all look so beautiful now. Some of them have already been adopted out, but one bird in particular, which was the love of my sisters life, they are keeping. Her name is Big Bird and she’s a beautiful macaw. I thank this organization with all of my heart for taking care of and finding wonderful homes for most of the birds.
Marie took in our 2 cockatiels and parakeet today. It was a difficult decision to make and she put us at ease immediately with her warmth and knowledge of all things birds. When we got home, she sent us an update on how they were doing, along with photos showing how they were fitting in. I can’t tell you how much that has eased my mind. This is the place to for adoption and for relinquishment of all birds. She is wonderful to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. Good folks here!
