Find Your Light Foundation has extended their reach all the way across the USA to assist our efforts in a big way! Their funding has helped to provide students young and old with experiences in the arts that have nourished the whole person in mind, body, and spirit. This past year FYLF helped us to replace carpeting that dated back over 28 years with new flooring that has opened the doors to a classroom now able to hold 50-60 people as a multi-purpose room for all art forms.
We could not have done this without their help, and we have expanded our offerings which have increased our enrollment. Together we are better, and we are inspiring a better future through the arts!
Find Your Light Foundation provides grants to nonprofits providing Art Education across the USA. They also invite those students to Josh Groban’s concerts to expierance the joy!
Find Your Light is an outstanding organization that evolved from Josh Groban’s desire to support arts education and his fans’ generosity and willingness to show their support for him by giving to his Foundation. The Foundation has already helped so many youth and changed so many lives. I am proud to be a founding member of the fan charity that delivered the very first check to FYL. It’s been a terrific journey and FYL continues to make a difference under the leadership of Josh, his parents, his brother and Carol Mollett as the Executive Director.
The Find Your Light Foundation is doing great work supporting arts education for thousands of underserved youth. As a grantee, we’ve really enjoyed working with them, and we’re very grateful for their support.
The Find Your Light Foundation has been wonderful a supporter to our organization. The grant funding to 4C LAB has given us the opportunity to provide youth throughout Southern California with a creative immersion experience and creative mental health support.
Find Your Light Foundation has helped our young nonprofit thrive and grow. Thank you, Find Your Light Foundation!
Find Your Light Foundation is an incredible organization. They are true partners in creating an equitable music education system throughout the United States. I have professionally worked with this organization for over a decade and have seen firsthand the tremendous impact of the work of Find Your Light Foundation. As a partner located in Phoenix, we have been honored to be part of their work in the greater Southwest.
Find Your Light Foundation understands the importance of making performing arts education available to all young people and knows how to effectively make a difference in communities throughout the US. The support Oaktown Jazz Workshops has received from Find Your Light Foundation over the past five years has made a great impact on our program and the young musicians we serve in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Find Your Light Foundation has a thoughtful, fair and well-organized grant application process. They graciously support arts programs that lift up our underserved youth and provide necessary and valuable programming where it's needed most. BRAVO for what you do and how you help those who serve have a greater impact among those needing it most!
Find Your Light Foundation has been providing us general support for over three years. We are extremely grateful to this amazing organization for believing in our mission to help children explore life with music. We serve a highly diverse community where resources are scattered and the access to music education is minimal. Thanks to the support from Find Your Light Foundation, we have been able to provide services to our community 100 % tuition free because we believe that all children deserve an opportunity to learn about the beautiful world of music regardless of their social or economic status. We admire the support that Find Your Light Foundation has provided to other similar organizations and we are hopeful that we can continue to work together for this common interest to make music accessible for youths across many other communities.
We are thrilled with the outpouring of support we receive from the Find Your Light Foundation and its Board. We are especially pleased that their funding provides Erie, Pennsylvania’s inner-city youth programs, plus our extended community art program with these wonderful opportunities. The world is a better place because of the Find Your Light Foundation and its supporters.
This is truly a life saving and life changing nonprofit! The work they do is inspiring. Seeing the difference it makes for the community shows empirically that "The Arts" matter!
Find Your Light Foundation is an incredible organization. I have seen where so many children and different groups have benefitted from their generosity. Not only has money been donated, but musical instruments. There are schools and children that can't afford instruments. FYL has made sure that each child can have the instrument of their choice. There are so many arts programs that have benefitted over the years. Not just music, but dance, acting and teaching children about how to have confidence through the arts. This is one of the best programs I have seen.

I have been a fan since the first when the fans raised the first $50,000 to start this foundation and when we finally reached a million dollars. Since that time, there has been so many wonderful projects that have been saved that would have been dropped. Find Your Light has been a great nonprofit for helping to save and keep the arts & music programs in schools and communities. It has been proven that arts & music in schools give children more confidence and helps them to excel in school. We need to keep arts education going.
Josh Groban's Find Your Light Foundation got its start from the impetus of a grassroots charity organized by his fans who shared his passion for arts education and the profound effect it has on children. I have watched this organization grow from the spark of an idea to a full-blown foundation reaching thousands of students across the country. Find Your Light focuses on underserved communities where arts programs have been cut the most dramatically. Among students with low economic status, those with high arts participation have a 4% dropout rate - 5 times lower than their peers. Grant applications are carefully considered and evaluated so that every available dollar is well utilized. The board members take no compensation which is always a plus to me when considering a recipient for my donor dollars.

I have been very blessed to be a tiny cog in the wheel of this amazing organization since 'before the beginning'. I've watched it grow from a blip on the horizon to the remarkable foundation it is today. Hundreds of kids have benefited from Find Your Light's grants in innumerable ways - the arts ARE important and deserve our support. FYL's mission is "not to create the next generation of professional artists, but to utilize the power of the arts to help kids find success in all aspects of their lives."
FYL is an amazing charity that allows children from underserved communities to have the chance to experience the arts such as music, theater and the chance at learning an instrument . It is so important for the arts to be incorporated in the school’s curriculum to enhance the educational experience.
I don't have any life experience with this profit, so I can only review from what I have seen how they present themselves online and in general . And to tell you, I am not only liking it, but I love what they are all about.
First of all, I think supporting the Arts is of great importance, not only for kids but for everyone. Without the Arts life wouldn't be so wondrous and exiting. For Arts makes your life more colorful, it transforms your life, gives you hope, it can shape a young person's future and it triggers your imagination. So every foundation based upon this is an amazing thing. The fYL foundation is doing some great work to support art education for kids in under served communities. There are also grants for organizations who would like to apply for funding. See also link: https://fylf.org/about/
The founder, the artist, musician Josh Groban is doing his utmost to make this foundation shine. Donations are done in such a way that they do not only accept money but you can donate in so many other ways. They also carry a platinum seal of transparency , which is important for every foundation for to be a trusted one. It is very important that through mutual cooperation with various organisations , artists and independent federal governmental institutions such as the NEA work together to see to it that every child enjoy the benefits, the joy it brings to create that artistic excellence and innovation they can achieve through the arts. It should be taught in every classroom. So the FYL foundation does an excellent job to achieve that.

Find Your Light Foundation goes above and beyond in their commitment to arts education nationwide. They support art programs across the country and aim to place their support where it's most needed. Find Your Light Foundation balances supporting programs new and old very well.
This amazing foundation helps organizations bring art education to underserved youth throughout the country. Arts education is essential in that it teaches not only creativity and a skill, but empowers young people with a voice. It has been shown that students who study the arts are more likely to have better grades, graduate, and live more fulfilling lives. The FYLF is very careful when choosing which organizations it will fund and therefore, making the most of every dollar.
As a School Superintendent I see and seek numerous grant opportunities to keep our arts programs alive and vibrant. I believe the Find Your Light Foundation is topics in providing an application process that asks insightful questions about our students and their exposure to the arts in the community. Once funded I have been extremely impressed with the outreach by the Foundation liaison to visit our campus, see our program in action, and applaud along with parents and relatives after the youth perform. So genuine too. I am Very impressed!!!
I have been a part of this foundation since it was started. Our founder, Josh Groban, has put his heart, soul, money and passion into making it what it is today. His efforts have convinced many people to donate much time and effort into Arts education. It is so important now more than ever with all the cuts in education we are experiencing today. Arts education molds our leaders for the future and what a great legacy to leave humanity!
I helped raise the original $50,000 to plant the seeds for what has become Josh Groban's Find Your Light Foundation. Dedicated to keeping arts education in at risk schools across the United States, this excellent organization is affecting our next generation of students. Studies have proved that students who are exposed to the arts graduate at higher rates, have improved scores in math, science, language arts, have increased SAT scores , and attend college at much higher rates. With school budgets being cut, they typically cut arts education classes first because they are viewed as superfluous.
Find Your Light is making a difference in the lives of students, granting to them the opportunity to be their best selves, and , by extension, better citizens of our country.
I whole heartedly recommend Find Your Light Foundation as an exceotional non-profit organization which I support with my own funds and fundraising efforts. Thank you.
This foundation has brought so much joy to all of the students who have benefited from the funding that Find Your Light provides. I was involved in both music & visual arts in school & that has helped me to become the person I am today. There are so many kids especially in the urban environment that are losing their funding for the arts & this foundation helps to bridge that gap. I have been contributing monthly to Find Your Light Foundation because I believe they fulfill a very important role for kids all over the country.
Finding FYL Foundation has opened my eyes to the potential of bringing the arts to all children. I have worked in an arts industry and have had the benefits of what being exposed to does for the individual. Seeing a foundation, and supporting it, gives me pleasure to know that the art opportunities are being restored through the help of others. I have personally seen how the arts has enriched the life of one of my family members and it is through organizations such as this that these doors were opened. Our world today NEEDS the arts!
I am privileged to support Find Your Light Foundation. Their work focuses on arts education and in these times, it's more important than ever. It matters a great deal to me that the Foundation has supported arts ed in inner city schools such as Chalmers in my home town. I hope to support their work for many years to come.
This is a wonderful non profit organization dedicated to serving children, who might not experience the benefits of art, music, dance, theater in their lives as they grow up. Learning the arts creates a well-rounded education & promotes confidence and creativity, to name a couple of the many benefits to having the arts as part of your education.
So many times in our world we see the arts being under funded, Find Your Light Foundation is great at finding those arts educational organizations that need help in various ways.
I benefitted greatly as a child from having music in my schools. I wouldn't have a career in teaching music today if I had not had that access.
Find Your Light Foundation is an incredible organization that gives kids the opportunity to experience arts education, something that is vital and critical to a young person’s growth and development, but is often looked over or put on the back burner because people don’t quite understand just how necessary it is in a child’s life.
I would Very Much Like for You To Consider Find Your Light Organization For Your Most Wonderful Award.
