Mission: The fwsf scholarship fund provides scholarships for san francisco bay area women studying in the areas of finance or financial services. The fwsf provides scholarship recipients mentorship and networking opportunities.
Programs: The fwsf scholarship fund provides graduate and undergraduate scholarships to san francisco bay area women pursuing careers in the fields of finance or the financial services industry. Since 1985, the fund has awarded over $2 million in scholarship grants to more than 300 bay area women. Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to meet potential mentors and attend both career development and networking events. In 2016, 11 scholarships were awarded totaling $100,000. Four undergraduates each received $5,000 and seven graduates each received $10,000.
