Fighting Childrens Cancer Foundation is an amazing organization that raises money to help the families with children who have cancer by paying all of their household bills thereby reducing the financial stress on the parents and allowing them to spend much more quality time helping their children combat this horrible disease. I've attended numerous fundraisers held by this organization and at every event is a parent or parents who tell the crowd how much this organization's financial support has helped them. All the money raised goes to these families.
I am proud to have been involved with the FCCF as both a gala vollenteer and a chair two years in a row for the annual fashion show. The FCCF is made up of all vollenteers except for one part time employee who also vollenteers her time. This enables us to have very limited expenses. I believe approximately 95% + - all monies collect go directly to families in need of support. To see first hand the impact the FCCF has on families who children are battling cancer is beyond anything I could have imagined. I feel very blessed to have been accepted to be be a vollenteer for this amazing charity.
The photos are from our 2016 annual fashion show. Those are a few of our models who also happened to be children who have had cancer
Having a son who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 9 months of age gives me a special appreciation for the FCCF and the work they do to assist families like mine. Their tireless efforts allow families to get the financial and emotional support they need when dealing with a cancer diagnosis. I am proud to be a supporter, advisory board member and event co chair for the FCCF. My son Cullen and rest of my family are active supporters as well. We are all proud to call the FCCF family our family.
It has been an incredibly honor to work alongside this group of people who work tirelessly to ease the burdens of families who have to cope with a child who is being treated for cancer. FCCF gives these families the strength and support they need to make it to "the finish line."
I was dragged to a Gala 15 years ago by my wife and have been involved with the FCCF ever since. The event inspired me to do more and has made me a better person. Their stewardship of dollars raised, their selfless and exhaustive efforts to bring a measure of relief to families battling this disease is inspirational. The joy the FCCF can bring families in their darkest hour with simple gestures of compassion, guidance, direction and most importantly money, in a time of often desperate and heartbreaking need can change lives.....and save lives. Get involved, come to an event, open your heart and please give!
The FCCF has an amazing group of volunteers who tirelessly devote time, energy and funds to this great cause. Their direct donations help families ease the unimaginable burden of having a child with cancer and trying to keep their heads above water financially. Thank you FCCF!
