The director of this facility, and her revolving staff, is not properly trained, qualified, or educated to conduct such a business that involves human safety and rehabilitation. They demonstrate "far below expectations" of what a therapeutic operation is and should be.

The second level of concern is the deplorable and disgusting conditions that the horses are in. From my understanding the county Animal Control team is constantly called out due to numerous complaints from multiple people that drive by or have personal experiences. At the very least, the constant "watch" from Animal Control has allowed the horses to receive minimum expectations of care, but I would hate to see what this place would look like without being monitored.

This type of operation and service would be so rewarding for this area, but this place definitely needs to step up their game.

Please everyone know this place STILL remains the same. Right now it is pouring, best be sure these poor horses are up to their hocks in mud, manure and muck. Staff is not properly trained in horsemanship or barn protocol. There are PLENTY of legitimate barns for therapeutic riding benefits. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! None of the staff is certified to perform ANY therapy activities with anyone.

My grown daughter has PTSD. She stopped by this place after searching for emotional help on the internet. She came back home in tears after seeing the sad condition of the horses! She said the place is a "dump'. Don't donate money to this place. The horses need FOOD! She said there was no sign of hay, feed buckets, or dropped grain. My daughter, who used to compete as an equestrian hunter/jumper before a traumatic injury, knows what she's talking about. She said it was the worst "farm?" she had ever been to. She also told me that no human was looking after their safety. We have sought alternative care. Heartbreaking!

Field of dreams therapeutic riding foundation is a great center where clients and horses are the priority, it is a safe place to go to release all of your stress and center yourself again. This place has helped me and many others that I have seen come by. If anyone is looking for a place to go to learn how to ride or if you need help dealing with physical or emotional problems this is the place I would suggest you go, it is community based operation and everything donated or contributed towards it goes to the care of the horses and the facility.

Please do your research when donating money or horses to this "so called" theraputic riding foundation. A clients horse was donated to them this year when she fell out of their trailer, due to their neglience and suffered terrible road rash and cuts. Which was then neglected for a month after the initial stitching and antbiotic denied by field of dreams manager. This then caused terrible infection in joints. She was then disguarded when she was no longer in use and claimed her condition was preexisting. For 2 months with many trips from our vet we were able to get her almost well. Grievences were filed with both of their associations. The ending result after 4 months of tender loving care, rehab, many hours to treat and heal and many vet bills is that due to all the stress and earlier infections, her legs are not holding up. We have made the decision to lay her to rest. There is nothing theraputic - emotional nor disability related going on at this place. They run a recreational farm and take donors money and horses. I wouldn't give them a card board box to care for.

What a joke this place is. Formal complaints have been filed with their certification organizations. I would definitely do my research before sending a horse to them or a child for their services.
