Not only has FFF taught me to TRN , how to socialize feral babies and foster cats they have taught me how to love again. Helping these babies brings me joy. They answer all my questions and go the extra 5 mile to help them all especially the sick or special needs kitties. Everyone should donate something to this Pawsome group!
I was not looking for a volunteer opportunity when I found Feral Feline Friends. I was looking for a cat. My first cat ever had just recently passed. I was so impressed with their kindness, empathy, and knowledge that not only did I adopt a cat, I also became a volunteer. Since then I have adopted several other cats as well. I have learned so much from them. I would highly recommend them.
They took 24 cat's from my parents house and fixed them and adopted some of them out and brought some back Beth came and help trap them and we thank you for helping use .
Due to many circumstances, some beyond my control, I ended up with close to 25 cats and kittens (mostly kittens) needing to be fixed. The folks at Feral Feline were such a blessing. Not only did they help me to find several of them new homes but there was no judgement on how I came to have so many. They were patient, loving and kind. I'm sure the kittens that went home with fantastic group found terrific furever homes!!
Feral Feline Friends has helped me many, many times with animals in need. I will be forever thankful for all that they have done to help me and all my felines in need. They are very experienced and knowledgeable in helping kitties. I have adopted one kitty from them and it has been the best experience!
This group does so much for the community, and so much for its fosters. I have been volunteering for FFF for almost 2 years, and I'm so glad to be a part of this organization.
Found 5 feral kittens roaming our neighborhood. Feral Feline provided shelter and spayed and had all the necessary shots administered. The kittens were given loving play time frequently daily to prepare them for their new families.
All 5 of the kittens were placed in purrfect homes!
Unfortunately mine was one of them! Arabella joins River as a second successful adoption from Feral Feline Friends! They are fantastic!
We adopted 2 kitties just over a year ago and they were very specific with interviewing me before they allowed me to take them. I was glad that they don't just let anyone take them, they truly vet each adoptee.
When I first came in contact with Feral Feline Friends, I had just found four 7 day old kittens. I bottle fed them until they were able with your help to get vetted and all four found homes thanks to you. Every since then my husband and I have been fosters to several cats. We love the people and the big hearts that all of you have. We also have adopted cats from you ourselves. We will always be there to help FFF in anyway we can.
Feral Feline Friends are simply wonderful!!!
They dearly love the kitties they rescue, and are wonderful to the people adopting as well. I love how they post updates when a kitty finds their forever home!!
I would recommend them to anyone.
Amazing! Thank you for letting us adopt this wonderful sweetheart and travel companion. Thank you for saving his life and all of the cats you help along the way. Truly spectacular organization with great adoption opportunities and life saving volunteers and rescue.

Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee is a local leader in improving the lives of feral cats and reducing cat overpopulation, with its many negative impacts, through their extremely active focus on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). They go above and beyond to rescue the adoptables and get medical treatment for the injured/ill cats. And, they are a diligent voice in the community regarding the criticality of spay/neuter.
I adopted 2 of their young cats who, at the time of rescue, were malnourished and had untreated upper respiratory infections. FFF came to the rescue, getting them crucial medical treatment, foster homes and socialization. Now, Bonnie and Wiley, even though visually-impaired from their illness as kittens, are active, healthy and happy members of our family.
Feral Feline Friends of East TN earns hero status every day!
I've had nothing but great experiences with FFF! We adopted the sweetest cat they had rescued from a horrible hoarding situation. Love them!
We adopted a beautiful Siamese/Torti mix. They rescued Lonnie (Elaina) from a very bad situation and had her for 2 weeks before we adopted her. When we got her she was malnourished and had Flea Allergy Dermatitis. So grateful they saved her so we could adopt her. She is a sweetheart of a cat. She looks so much different in the photo below (taken 2 days ago) than when we first brought her home.
This group works tirelessly TNRing Feral & Community cats, rescuing & providing vet care to cats & kittens in need & educating the public at community events. Hundreds of cats and kittens are placed in loving homes through adoption events.
Feral Felines is absolutely one of the most community involved rescue groups in the area with such a huge heart for animals. I can’t even count the number of times they’ve been contacted about an emergency situation and a volunteer dropped everything to spring into action. They are doing everything they can to ensure the feral cats in East Tennessee are spayed/neutered and cared for, as well as getting adoptable cats & kittens off the streets and into foster homes. We are truly fortunate to have FFF in Knoxville!
Feral Feline Friends has helped us with TNR for two feral cats in distress. One is now our inside kitty! The other our outside cat. FFF is THE Best boots on the ground rescue organization in our area.
I give to Feral Feline Friends when I can, but have received far more than I give. When Beth Melhorn met me very late at night in a bad rain storm to get a seriously injured cat from me that I had trapped, I was SO grateful and impressed. If there were more people like her it'd be a better world. By the way, she took such good care of that wonderful kitty, nursed him back to health, and his FIRST adoption event at Pet Smart, she had found him a great home!
I discovered a couple of years ago there was a feral colony in my backyard - we live in a rural community and have over an acre. I didn't care to feed them, but my husband is disabled and I couldn't get them fixed and babies were coming and coming. Feral Feline Friends put me in touch with one of their members and she brought me traps and picked up some of the cats took them to get them fixed and brought them home. Then the last few, I got the traps, trapped them and took them to get fixed. Now my feral colony is all fixed and no more babies. They are all wonderful people who love animals and go the extra mile to help you with yours. I don't know what I would have done without their help.
FFF has been a wonderful resource for the stray cats and kittens that have crossed my path. This organization takes care of vet costs and provides a safe carefully monitored process and outlet for adopting out the cats.
The crew at FFF have been a huge help in helping me deal with feral cats I trap. They work their fingers to the bone to get the adoptable ones into good homes and have an excellent vetting process to make sure that the cats WILL be in a permanent home. They are a joy to work with.
I am a volunteer with this rescue and they are so very hard working and dedicated to helping cats! Love them all!
I cannot say enough good things about this organization. I found myself with four feral cats (3 kittens and 1 mama). Thanks to FFA I was able to trap, spay/neuter, shots, and ear tip all four cats at no out of pocket expense! They even provided valuable one-on-one advice with the trapping. If you’ve been looking for a worthwhile organization to support - THIS IS IT. Thank you, FFA!
The very best group of rescuers ever. Such happy pets get their forever home. This group is very caring and kind. I will always recommend them!! Thank you FFF for all you do!!!! The picture is my Eli!!

Thank you Diane!
Feral Feline Friends of East Tn are a wonderful organization that help a lot of animals in need. They helped take care of a feral colony discovered behind a building where I worked including TNR (trap/neuter/release) and providing food, water, and vet care for those abandoned babies. They also helped in my mother-in-law’s neighborhood by TNR of the feral cats who lived there, preventing more homeless kittens. They are a great asset to our community and I appreciate all they do to help the feline population in getting the care they they need/deserve while supporting TNR efforts to prevent future homeless babies.
We have adopted three kitties from Feral Feline Friends of ET and would not go to anyone else. They work so hard taking care of the the cats and finding them great homes. We would not know what to do without our babies. They mean the world to us.

We appreciate you too!
This group has been great. I reached out to them because of some feral cats at work. They were a great help - we got them fixed and relocated to a safe place. Thankfully, they will not be reproducing more homeless kittens!
Local Cat Rescue located in Knoxville TN that provides TNR of feral/community cats with loving caretakers and re-homes the tame cats/kittens found in those colonies. They provide critical medical care for cats in need found in those colonies and the community when possible. Great group of loving people!
I’ve adopted 3 cats from Feral Feline Friends. They are the best companions, and I’ve been continually pleased with how helpful and knowledgeable their volunteers are!

We love people like you that support our cause and adopt from us!
This past year Feral Feline Friends adopted out over 550 cats/kittens through our Adoption fairs and Cat Room at Petsmart, Morrell Road. There's a growing need for Volunteers: to help in Cat Room, Foster Cats/kittens, and Trap. We side by side train all our volunteers. Foster's receive food /medical costs for their cats /kittens while they are waiting for Adoption.
Please help us reduce the overpopulation of cats in East Tennessee.
Pictured are some of the Foster Kittens I adopted out to wonderful homes this year.
