I adopted a cat "Dr Pepper" who was rescued from Caro Feline Rescue in NJ 2016. He ended up in the Animal Control Center of NYC in Staten Island. He came from this facility to CT where I found him. He was cared for in foster homes for three years. He was considered an "Expnochild" cat. Hissed at his care givers, bit through gloves, unapproachable. No one gave up on him. I adopted him. It took him a about a month to come out from under the bed. Slowly we got to know each other. It took time and patience. Now he is affectionate and sleeps by my side every night. His name is now HydE (because he hid for so long). Thank you for all of those who did not give up on him. I love him and he is such a good boy.
