Mission: To integrate persons with disabilities and other life issues into the community and enrich their quality of life with choice and independence.
Programs: Developmental training-provides basic daily living skills training in simple production work activities for moderate to severely handicapped individuals in bond, fayette, effingham and montgomery counties. This program operated for 240 days during the year. Under this program, approximately 215,046 hours of service were provided to the 182 participants.
community integrated living-a residential alternative which affords an individual set of services, unique to the individual, to ensure that an appropriate residential option is open to each developmentally disabled adult. This program provided care for the participants for 366 days of the year. Under this program the organization provided intensive residential services to over 51 individuals. Approximately 17,918 hours of care were provided to the individuals served.
sheltered workshop-provides employment and continued independent living skills training for eventual placement in the community for mild to moderately handicapped individuals in bond, fayette, effingham, and montgomery counties. This program operated for 240 days during the year. Under this program, approximately 14,732 hours of service were provided to the various participants. During the year, the program served 17 individuals and arranged competitive employment opportunities for 14 of those individuals.
