FPAT, Farragut Performing Arts theatre was a very active performing troupe. For many years. FPAT provided good family entertainment at an affordable fee to the community of musical theatre programs.
It provide an outlet for musicans, dancers, singers, whom had learned the acting craft. It provided persons of all ages the opportunity to be part of either on stage or back positions in the performing arts. It disbanded when Victoria Bolen it's artistic director died of cancer. She was the most amazing woman whom had the ability to bring out the very best in everyone, and the driving force in the community arts programs in the Farragut and Knoxville, TN area. She was able to bring all the different arts programs together so that they all had an outlet for their members with her students in proving shows all year long. She was a college and university professor, a instructor at her own dance company, an accomplished musician, and a member of the Arts Council for the region. She was well known through the United States, as a musician and a ballerina for nationally known companies for years before moving to directing, producing, performances for FPAT.
