I grew up around farm animals and never have I seen animals neglected or abused. The condition these animals are in and the suffering they endure before they are rescued is indescribable, but the love and care they receive at rescue sanctuaries like Farmhouse Fresh is a godsend to these innocent animals. I was very impressed and touched. I will be a FHF sanctuary donor for as much as and as long as i am able! ❤️
The Farmhouse Fresh Ranch is beautiful, with a lot of land for the animals to roam. FHF have the ability to rescue these once neglected animals and nourish them back to health through specialized diets and therapies. You can tell the staff deeply care about the animals and doing what is best for them.
What a wonderful place! The sanctuary is so well maintained and the animals are so happy and well cared for. Elise gave us a tour and you can tell how much she loves her job and the animals. The animals were all so nice, but I especially loved the donkeys. It was so cool seeing where the profits of the skincare line are going.

My daughter and I visited the farm on a Saturday in March. We were warmly welcomed by Sierra, the Ranch Hand and Tour Coordinator. She kindly showed us the beautiful home/offices and grounds. She was patient in answering all of our questions. My daughter LOVED seeing the donkeys, horses and sheep. You can tell they are well loved and cared for. I’ve been using Farmhouse Fresh products for a couple of years now, but now seeing firsthand the impact it has in helping animals, it makes me want to support them even more. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit, I highly recommend this wonderful experience!!

Farmhouse Fresh is such an amazing sanctuary! They were recommended by other locals in McKinney as a great place to volunteer and I couldn’t agree more. I am a volunteer with Farmhouse Fresh and have been since they opened their volunteer opportunities last Summer. They have a beautiful and well run operation filled with kind staff and fun loving animals. I look forward to my days at FHF and am always greeted with smiles from the team as well as winnies from the animals. I feel so fortunate to live so close and be able to make this a part of my routine! I have spent time talking with the owner Shannon on a few occasions as well, she is a lovely and generous woman, I am so grateful for the work she has inspired! I LOVE FHF!
I toured the FarmHouse Fresh Farm Animal Sanctuary recently. I was beyond impressed with their knowledge of each animals’ needs. From a horse with a prosthetic leg, special shoes customized for several horses and donkeys and specific care for a blind and deaf sheep, this place does it all.
I love this place. When I go and help care for their animals and facilities, I always feel happier. Nothing like being surrounded by the sweet and sassy horses, donkeys, sheep and goats.
Just seeing how the ranch hands take such good care of these animals makes my heart so happy. They truly love these animals. I have purchased farmhouse fresh products after seeing the amazing things that they do for so many animals who need them. The animals are free to finally live a beautiful life. And they are so happy. I started volunteering with Farmhouse fresh just for fun. After my first visit, i couldn’t wait to sign up for more volunteer sessions. They have the most amazing loving staff that truly love the animals at the rescue. This is the best organization i have volunteered for and i plan on volunteering long term. All the animals really make me feel so much better about volunteering, because i know that i can help them out even just a little.
Farm House Fresh Animal Sanctuary TOTALLY ROCKS!!! I have been volunteering here for about a month. In just one week’s time you can noticeably see and feel the newly rescued animals relax and trust. Arriving from a troubled past, it is amazing how quickly the animals adapt and realize that every day they will be loved and cared for. I am so lucky to get to volunteer here. I get a great workout while mucking stalls and such. Plus, I get to be around animals that love being petted and even just talked to. It is extraordinary how trusting and curious the donkey, Teddy and the ponies, Alvin, Theodore, and Simon have become in just thirty short days of being residents at the sanctuary!!!!
I have been volunteering with FHF since they began their volunteer program and I continue to come back each week! I have enjoyed getting to know the team, the animals, and being able to make a difference with my time for such an amazing sanctuary. I am so thankful for the opportunity and to be able to volunteer with a charity that makes such an incredible impact. I would rate 6 stars if it was an option!
The Farmhouse Fresh Animal Sanctuary does *amazing* work with animals! Horses, donkeys, goats, and sheep have come to them in all sorts of conditions - some of the animals are afraid of people, some animals are incredibly thin, some are missing limbs. The Sanctuary works with these animals, gets them medical care, helps them learn to trust again, and provides them a beautiful loving comfortable home in which to live their best life.
FHF's entire team is amazing! I love what you are doing at the ranch; giving these beautiful creatures a second chance. I get to love on the animals a few times a year. It's better than therapy. I have worked with the product line from Farmhouse for over 6 years. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the sanctuary to take a tour. I was blown away. I have never experienced anything like it. To see how loved and cared for these amazing animals were touched me beyond belief. The staff at the alarm are so loving to the animals and shared each of their stories with me. You can always tell when an animal feels love from its surroundings and that is exactly what you saw. I was moved so much by everything there. It made me love the skincare line even more knowing that they donate a portion of every sale to the farm and clients can actually scan a code to see which animal is being helped.
We visited this non profit and had such a wonderful time with Elise. She is amazing with the animals and the whole staff is so sweet. It’s amazing how they take in animals who are sick and make them comfortable while they live out their lives.

What really stood out to me most was the individualized attention each animal receives. The staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that every animal is treated with utmost care and compassion, taking into account their unique needs and backgrounds. They work super hard to help these animals heal and feel better, giving them a new lease on life.
Farmhouse Fresh Animal Sanctuary is amazing I got to see this place in person, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone who wants to see the power of love, care, and dedication in action.
I have been using FarmHouse Fresh products since 2021, and it truly feels like an at home spa experience in every way. The design of the packaging, scent as soon as you open the product, and feel of applying is luxurious, and makes me feel pampered. And that’s not even mentioning how great my skin looks after switching to these products! My favorite has got to be FHF’s Full Moon Dip mousse and Illumination Juice facial tonic.
More than that, it feels amazing to see all the incredible work FHF is doing to better the lives of animals. Watching them rehabilitate Harvey the donkey through patience and love was so beautiful, and their commitment to invest in horses that had been given up for slaughter is heartwarming to see. Knowing that my purchase is going towards a noble cause makes me feel even better!
Amazing company as to what they do in support of their non-profit activities. The animals are not just a sideline of theirs. They are part of the full corporate ecosystem. The employees in the profit side of the business like to come out and hang with them. As to the treatment of the animals, they go to extraordinary lengths to take care of these animals have been either discarded from previous owners or with incredible health challenges. It’s amazing to see how the personalities of the animals change drastically (for the better) by the way they were handled by the staff. Some of the health challenges of the animals are extreme, but the owners and managers spare no expense or effort to make them better. Having seen the extent of the health problems and the compassion shown to them, it’s incredible . It’s worth buying their products (which are top quality in themselves) just to support what this fabulous organization does!
I have volunteered several times at Farmhouse Fresh Animal Sanctuary and their commitment to helping those animals most in need is truly inspiring. There are three reasons I think this way: 1 specific tailored treatments for each animal, 2 increasing facility capability for the well-being of the animals and 3 consistently seeking out new ways to help the animals
Each of the animals at the sanctuary has a specific feeding and medication schedule designed to increase their health and well-being. Additionally, whenever an animal needs extra attention, even if they need to be trailered to a vet they will be taken to ensure they receive the best care possible. I have seen transformations as animals have been nursed back to health.
The grounds of the sanctuary are always being upgraded to provide more space for new rescues in addition to special structures to help the animals. A covered structure was put up to provide shade on hot days, and scratching posts with brushes have been installed in various locations. A multitude of separated enclosures such as one for the more sensitive sheep help all the animals maintain a comfortable lifestyle.
Finally, the sanctuary is always thinking of new ways to help the lives of the animals. The animals receive daily enrichment. Additionally, the sanctuary has comes up with clever things such horn guard bands for the goats that help to prevent their horns getting stuck and injuring one another when they play.
Based on my experience with Farmhouse Fresh Animal Sanctuary, I am confident that they are an organization that exceeds expectations in terms of providing a healing refuge to animals with nowhere else to go. The unique care they give to each animal, the ever expanding facility to keep them comfortable, and a clear dedication to helping with even little "creature comforts" makes me happy to volunteer and further their mission.
I’ve watched farmhouse fresh grow from day one. It is so incredible to see how many animals they have saved, helped and heal over the years. Being around the founder is so inspiring because you can see her passion and heart throughout her entire mission. The team really puts in a lot of care. Not to mention their products have not only saved animals but my skin as well!
To have served this wonderful establishment was such an honor and a blessing. I gained so much from being part of something so big and wonderful. I worked with the caring for the animals that show up there in the most time of need of their life. Often times after they were saved from a cruel end. I am blessed to have worked for such a business that does great work in providing rescue and refuge for those in need and while creating wonderful clean beauty products that are amazing! I really can’t say enough about FHF and what they do and all the wonderful experiences I have had in being a part of that magical place.

This is an amazing and very heart warming place. Animals from various locations and states arrive at Farmhouse Fresh Sanctuary and are very lucky to call it home. The love and attention each and every animal receives from the staff and volunteers deserves an “A plus” rating. So many happy stories and more importantly so many happy animals at their Forever Home.
These are the best caretakers I’ve ever met. The animals they take in could not be more loved and cared for. They take the animals that no one else will take a chance on; cancers, old, blind, one eyes, etc. In fact I have in my will that my children are to take my horses there should I die before them. I know they will continue to be loved as much as they are here. They also have great products to support their nonprofit!
They changed my life! They saved a donkey that came to my ranch for her forever home! What they do is almost beyond comprehension, they take the very worst overused and neglected animals and bring them to their forever home and they become friendly, healthy as they can and HAPPY! It’s such a beautiful thing to witness. I had a friend visit we got a private tour, the next day I ask what’s the one thing that stands out she responded PASSION Shannon and her team have a 101% PASSION like she had never seen and it’s true. ANYTHING FOR THEIR FAMILY OF ANIMALS AND EVERYTHING FOR THEIR FAMILY OF ANIMALS!
What can I say… it’s an incredible place.. my daughter volunteers there and I have been for a tour and the story is heartwarming. The animals are happy, well taken care of and the staff have a passion for all the animals, the stories of each animal is unique..
