Mission: The mission of Farmer Veteramn Coalition is to assist military veterans with their transition from the armed services to careers in the agricultural sector or aid them in starting their own farming operations. Farmer Veteran Coalition was formed to help veterans as they re- enter civilian society by connecting them with meaningful and stable career opportunities in the agricultural sector, and to help veterans who are suffering from particularly severe combat-related injuries locate effective services and therapy options, with a particular emphasis on agricultural and other nature-based therapy modalities. FVC believes that connecting disabled and at-risk veterans with job opportunities in the agricultural sector helps to address two current and pressing social issues simultaneously.
