Causes: Religion, Religious Radio
Mission: Febc exists to develop christian radio/internet programming and discipleship ministries for a global audience. Our goal is to broadcast the good news of jesus christ so listeners will know him and learn to obey and serve god as members of a local body of believers.
Programs: As an international christian media network established in 1945, febc provides grants to its affiliates which broadcasts in over 105 languages in 49 countries offering 842 broadcast hours a day. In 2016 febc received over 5. 6 million listener responses (letters, site visits, phonecalls, e-mails, texts and online postings) from south east asia, central asia, south asia, asia and russia, which speak of changed lives as a result of listening to our broadcasts.
christian radio programs are produced in our california studios in mandarin, tagalog, hmong, korean and vietnamese languages, which are broadcast in their native countries via shortwave, a. M. , f. M. , satellite and through other media outlets.
the u. S. Office provides leadership, consulting services and training to 19 affiliate offices. Additionally, we provide, free of charge, studios, office space, communication services and it support for chinese, korean, russian and vietnamese ministries. The u. S. Office also administers planned giving programs including charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, wills and bequests, etc.
febc provides direct support to over 9 missionaries and 6 affiliate missionaries that serve as the engineers, project managers, and other highly technical capacities across the world.
