I've known this non-profit for almost 15 years. They are incredible. They have donated thousands upon thousands of free meals to feed poor families in our community. The meals are delicious and nutritious. The recent pandemic has not slowed them down in their endeavor to help the less fortunate.
Anyone that wants to help end world hunger has a great mission to accomplish. Very noble but is overwhelming. It takes everyone to do their part. You need to start somewhere right? What I like most about Family Green Survival is that they partner with other nonprofits to help the nourishment for many families from many walks of life, in the greater Placer County and surrounding areas. They keep costs down so they provide more for those in need.
I love the fact they they had an imaginary dinner with no food at the banquet to raise money. There were no cost to put on the event and all the money that was raised went directly into feeding hungry people. No outrageous tablescapes, no fancy food, no big entertainmentment just people wanting to give. Super cool.

Gopal Kapur and Family Green Survival have done amazing things locally and globally. Hunger is real around the world and is real right here in Roseville, CA. This organization recognizes the need for nutritious, convenient and cost effective ways to feed the world. Too often, the food pantries are filled with food that has little nutritional value. Recognition, Education and Action create the mission of this organization. I am happy and proud to continue my support. You should too. Bag Of Life and The Imaginary Meal programs are great ways to support and get involved. https://familygreensurvival.org/

Family Green Survival/Bag of Life is a focused not for profit effort that has a chief aim to end local hunger. It has been and will continue to be my honor to help spread the word about the great work done for our local South Placer communities. It is amazing to think that people in our communities go without food in a area with so much abundance. Small donations done by many go so far. Keep up the great work Gopal.
I have worked with Gopal Kapur, the man brilliant and generous man behind Family Green Survival for many years. I have collaborated with his organization on several video projects related to his non-profit. I am always amazed and inspired at his ingenuity, earnestness and genuine passion for people and especially people in need. He is meticulous in his research of any project he works on and in continually coming up with innovative solutions to very difficulty human challenges. Of all the non-profits I have worked with Family Green Survival is among the highest in terms of integrity, low (low) overhead and follow-through with execution.
It has been a joy and pleasure to help create and lead FamilyGreenSurvival Bag of Life events at our church. We have seen 100 people of all ages come together to build these life-giving meals. Gopal Kapur is passionate about educating people of all ages about what does and does not constitute healthy food, and he is passionate about meeting the worlds deep need for healthy food. Particularly in areas of the world where the need for nutrition far outweighs the local support agency's in place to meet it.
I highly recommend Gopal Kapur to you as you consider how to meet our worlds immense hunger needs. Pastor Tony Stiff
Gopal Kapur and FamilyGreenSurvivial have had a tremendous impact in the Greater Sacramento Area by providing low cost nutritious food (not just calories) to those in need. The products are well researched and consistently of high quality.
Additionally Gopal has provided extensive nutritional and lifestyle counseling to the community at large as well as those in need. Through education we can improve the quality of life for many people and help break the cycle of poverty and malnutrition.
Well done Gopal!

I first became aware of this organization in 2013 when our agency received a donation of their products for our clients. "GREAT QUALITY" describes the product, the organization & the personality of the founder, Gopal.
I am very excited to support Gopal and the FamilyGreenSurvival BagOfLife products. They have brought tremendous value to the community. The meals they provide are healthier solutions to the public more nutritious. Keep up the great work!
That there is hunger in the United States is appalling, and that Family Green Survival has stepped up to the plate to help end the hunger is amazing. This is the kind of non-profit that I love to support because I know the dollars I give will be used to the utmost to accomplish the goals they set out.
I became acquainted with FamilyGreenSurvival through our Rotary Club because we focus on service in our community--whether locally or internationally. The issue of hunger and poor nutrition among our entire population is all around us. This organization takes simple concepts that we can all understand and adopt them to our everyday lives to eat better in a more economic way, feel better because we are eating nutritiously, and make eating healthy foods the model rather than the exception. It is a matter of our making the decision to change our habits and stick to it. This organization provides the information and education to help us all become healthier, then puts it into action by providing these simple, easy-to-prepare meals that can be available to anyone regardless of their income level.
I met Family Green Survival's founder a number of years ago through our local Rotary Club. Family Green is Gopal Kapur's brainchild that fullfills his desire to reduce the number of people that go to sleep hungry every night and to do it in a very nutritional way. Many other organizations provide food consistng of mostly calories to the hungry; however Family Green provides extremely nutritional food to those in need along with nutritional coaching. Family Green has provided the local Food Bank with significant amounts of prepackaged food which is easy to use and is highly beneficial nutritionally to the recipients.
I fully support Gopal's organization and his desire to see this concept spread throughout the US and Internationally.
Individually and through my Rotary Club, I have been interested, and have followed the work this nonprofit has done with orphans and impoverished young people in India. These have been primarily young girls, but also young boys. The opportunities generated, and the results achieved have been inspiring and rewarding. These young people have been provided the chance to continue their education through high school, college, and post graduate work. They have been consistently high achieving, and have toward the end returned to assist others achieve the same. My contribution has been financial and that of great appreciation for the dedication of this organization to helping young people who would likely be lost otherwise.

What an amazing organization. Family Green Survival is the most well thought out methods of getting high quality and highly nutritious food to the people that need it the most. The food is simple to prepare and tastes great.
