I've been proud to donate to this incredible organization for several years now. Pam and Nancy are among the most responsible, responsive, caring, honest, and generous caretakers of their donors' funds, making sure the monies are allocated to the most needy among us. Family-To-Family is one Great Nonprofit!

It seems to me that because of the great volunteer effort that the overhead is low. They don’t bombard you with extra requests I only receive a few during the year when they are in critical need. Very personable with their patrons.

Family-to-Family provides assistance, in various forms, to people in need across the country including veterans, Holocaust survivors, families and children. They provide an amazing level of support with a limited staff and are truly changing people's lives for the better. I am not aware of any other charitable organization that is so connected to their recipients and responsive to their specific needs on an ever-changing basis.

I first became aware of Family-to-Family in the fall of 2021, and loved the idea of being able to anonymously support a family in need in my own state! The communication between the administrators and donors has been outstanding. Last year the area where my sponsored family lives was hit with catastrophic flooding. I reached out to the administrators who were able to track down local contracts to ensure the family is okay. I also love that the program is so well organized, it makes it easy to participate! It's evident Family-to-Family is truly passionate about helping those in need. I highly recommend supporting this nonprofit!

Nancy and her team seem efficient and focused on doing as much good as possible with as little "fluff" as possible - no fancy flyers or fundraising letters, just content about families and their needs.

I have been sponsoring a family in need, through Family-to-Family, for four years. I truly appreciate being able to give directly to a family, knowing exactly where my donations are going. The staff and community partners are always incredibly helpful and responsive; and they do a great job communicating their funding needs without being pushy. My experience with them has been fantastic and I will proudly continue to support this agency for as long as I am able.

I have been supporting a family through Family-to Family for more than a decade. The mother is now a grandmother raising her grandchildren and taking in other close relatives who have parents unable to care for them. She continues to work full time. One daughter has completed college and is now teaching. Hopefully the other children will continue their education and become gainfully employed.

I love this organization! It is amazing to give and feel connected to people - sending cards and books to my first family over the years was deeply meaningful for my life. Now I have the joy of sponsoring even more people. I treasure the work they do and the connections it brings.

I have helped to sponsor a family through the Family-to-Family charity for a number of years. I like the idea of personally helping a specific family. Family-to-Family offers different levels of sponsorship so that donors with limited disposable income can still participate in sponsoring a family. In addition to our monthly donation, we also have the opportunity to provide additional needed items to our sponsored family throughout the year.

I have supported this nonprofit since its inception. It has done an incredible job supporting many families both locally & nationally. They are timely in their responses to families & to volunteers; thorough & clear in articulating the families' needs, both financial & concrete; consistent in their follow up communications with families & volunteers; flexible in responding to new challenges & unexpected problems. I cannot commend them more highly.

I am an attorney who represents refugees. Many of my clients rely on monthly donations from Family-to-Family for food and other basic necessities. I see firsthand the impact that my sponsorship has on families and I know from my clients stories how big of a difference it makes—financially and emotionally—to have support from members of their new communities here in the US.

This organization provides direct help where needed to the elderly and the young, and often to people who have no one else to rely on. I have been supporting Holocaust survivors through them for years, and I know that with Nancy, Pam, Nell, Katie and others on the team, the money goes directly where it is needed. The FTM family is incredibly dedicated, talented and resourceful - and compassionate to those in need. Also, the team is regularly open to new ideas on how to help those they help - they are agile and dynamic. E.g., last year for Passover, they started giving each Holocaust survivor an extra stipend at the suggestion of a donor and I believe this has become a regular part of their program.

The mission of this group means so much to me. Holocaust survivors are living history and treasures that should be treated accordingly. This program does that for people that are often forgotten.

I have been involved as a donor to this remarkable non-profit organization, Family-to-Family, for close to 20 years. It is a remarkable source of concrete giving to families in need from people, including myself, who are financially very fortunate. It also served as a model of generosity when my son was a young boy and we used to shop and pack up our box of groceries to send off to the family assigned, writing letters back and forth . I now additionally donate in honor of my five grand nieces and nephews on their Birthdays, and it is very appreciated by them and their parents, knowing they are helping families that are in need.

It’s right there in it’s name, Family to Family. I have limited resources myself so I want to be certain my donations are going directly to a family, a less fortunate family than mine. I receive updates about the family I am helping and the veteran. I love that Family to Family is right in town and I can drop by with donations. This is the best non-profit I've ever worked with. They are so personal and are really making a difference in people's lives. They send photos and stories and letters showing our donations making a difference.

Started as just a small home grown idea Family to Family has developed into a superbly managed non-profit with a huge heart. Pam and Nancy and their small team of dedicated helpers reach all across the country to help the most vulnerable among us...the young, the old and our veterans. I have donated monthly for years now and like that despite their huge reach they communicate with their donors in a very personal way. Emails keeping us informed of where the need is most and just enough details about the person or group I am donating to to make me feel the humanity of my donation. I know that my donation gets to the specific Veteran I am supporting and that is a very good feeling. Family-to-Family is just that, direct from my home to the home of those in need.

Pam Koner and her team have worked tirelessly for our community, and others in need around the USA, for decades. They are effective, energetic, responsible, imaginative. Can't say enough great things about this organization.

For 13 years I have been involved w Family to Family in different ways-each providing support to our community and organized in efficient, smooth ways. I’ve participated in a “sponsor a family“ program that provides monthly grocery store gift cards to families in need, programs to support senior citizens during holidays , pop-up store of recycled clothing, calls to our community when a new mom needs diapers or our food pantry is running low. These programs are among many other strong ones making positive impacts. I am always blown away by Family-to-Family’s quick, creative and powerful responses to those in need.

I have been a monthly contributor for a few years now and I continue to be impressed with Family-to-Family's responsiveness to the specific needs of local residents, even as they change over time. While I do contribute to other organizations and causes, it's the focus on helping neighbors that I find so appealing. From the way that they organize their efforts, I get the feeling that F-to-F truly works to respect and preserve people's dignity, especially in trying times and circumstances. That the Hastings office employs a delightfully enthusiastic puppy as official greeter is a major bonus.

Family-to-Family, Inc, with the dedicated and passionate leadership of Pam Koner and the able assistance of her staff, has allowed my family and many others to feel like they are truly making an impact in reducing hunger in the United States, in a very personal way, in our own neighborhood and in far-flung neighborhoods across the US. And they've been at it for years! From the time my kids were small and could help pack up the monthly box of food non-perishables for a family in Ohio, to now when my kids have their own kids and are involved in other charitable works, and I'm providing a monthly grocery gift card to a family in our own town, Family-to-Family has persisted through so many iterations and with so many creative ideas both for fundraising and for providing for families less fortunate than ours (birthday boxes, monthly toiletries, books for kids). I have been donating monthly to Family To Family's local food assistance program in Hastings on Hudson, and it's been a very effective means of assisting families make ends meet every month. In addition, I've participated in several of her amazing outreach programs, from Birthday in a Box to the Holocaust Survivor Assistance she has set up. The list is truly extensive! She is simply amazing.

Family to family is an organization that at its roots, is simply caring for others. In my nearly 45 years as director of the South Worcester Neighborhood Center, I have never encountered such a dedicated and well balanced organization like F2F.

Family-to-Family has been working with our Boys & Girls Club organization in Central Alabama for several years. We connect them to families in need and we pass along the funds that Family-to-Family sends each month. We see first hand how they are helping and benefiting many families who just need a helping hand. I first read an article about Family to Family and its mission resonated with me. Unlike larger national not for profits with high overhead and marketing costs, I knew my donation would have an immediate impact on real Americans in need. Being able to help school kids in Orlando have school supplies or new mothers in West Virginia have basic baby supplies, helps me know my donation is being used for good. Supporting local Brooklyn families who live close to me but a world apart, it was my obligation to share and help them feed their families. I wish more people and corporations knew about this great organization helping to feed the bellies and minds of Americas poorest and at risk families.

Upon hearing about Family-to-Family you can't help but want to get involved in any way possible. They have numerous programs available to make getting involved so very simple. It is heartwarming to know that in some way you were able to put a smile on someone's face, give them hope and let them know someone cares. Thank you Family-to-Family for all that you do:)

I have been involved with many other charity organizations and this one has exceeded my expectations by far. The different things I can get involved with are spectacular. I love how for thanksgiving they send turkeys to families all over the US. For children, reading is so valuable and I love that this organization pays attention to that. Also, writing letters back and forth to your family you're donating to gives me a sense on how I am making a difference and what else I can do to make a bigger difference. This organization is truly special and into helping others in anyway they can. This is definitely and organization I will be staying with and volunteering for long term.

Family-to-Family finds original, inventive and creative, out of the box ideas to help families in need not just to fill an empty stomach but also to stimulate a hungry mind. And this is only a small fraction of what this wonderful organization is doing for families in need around the country.

This has been a wonderful way for my middle school aged son to contribute his time in a manageable and meaningful way. He does the shopping every month for the family we sponsored. He especially enjoys sneaking in his favorite junk foods for the teenage boy in our sponsored family! I like the anonymity...since we don't know our sponsored family except that they are a local mother and son, and they don't know us. That feels right to me.

I have been so blessed to have enough to feed my family an get all we need. We are not rich and both work very hard to pay our bills. The $31 i spend each month to help a family just like mine is just a drop in the bucket and I don't miss it. i have such a wonderful sponsored family and we have gotten to be very good friends. We share common interests and hobbies and have fun learning about each others families and the different parts of the country . I have a special needs child myself and it is one of our greatest pleasures to shop for our family together and send those extra boxes of extra and gifts occasionally. it teaches children thankfulness for what they have and generosity to those in need. I love the idea of Family to Family. The name says it all. mine to yours. The way it should be everyday, everywhere.

It is easy to acknowledge suffering and sometimes feel powerless to make a difference. By being a sponsor, I literally pack food in a box that goes directly to a family in need. I am the local mayor of the village where Family-to-Family is based, and I am also a donor and supporter. What impresses me about F-to-F? Tireless devotion to the job by the volunteer staff. Innovation to provide new servcies when needs are identified and willingness to drop efforts when they are completed or unsuccessful. Successful use of media (both traditional and new media) to get the word out. Sensitivity to the clients - they're always treated compassionately and with great respect for their privacy.

Family-to-Family has helped provide healthy and nutritional food for the needy and hungry children and their families in Pembroke Township/Hokins Park, Illinois. This community is listed as one of the poorest cities, in the United States. Currenlty, Family-to-Family services 38 families, each family receives fresh food monthly which is distributed thru Lorenzo R. Smith School (Hopkins Park) and Super K-Mart (Kankakee, Illinois). Although the families have little in the way of basic needs, God, Sponors and Family-To-Family has continued to supply 5 to 7 days of additional food and the families are thankful!

F-to-F has provided me the opportunity to reach out to a family in need in a part of the country that is in great poverty. The food & fresh produce & dairy they receive every month supplements there food budget & is greatly appreciated. I correspond with my designated family & have made a relationship with them. We write back & forth & they let me know how they are doing. I think the letters as well as the financial support mean a great deal to them. I feel safe sending my monthly check to F-to-F knowing it will get to the family of my choice.

I first contacted Family-to-Family in December, 2011 and was matched up with a single mom and her children. The experience has been wonderful. I hope to meet them in person this summer. They are always very appreciative of all that I and the Mission do for them. It feels good to know you are helping a family in need, but what they may not realize is that they are also helping "me." Becoming an empty nester recently hasn't been easy, so having another family, so to speak, to concentrate on has been a blessing. Thank you Family-to-Family!

Family-to-Family is a unique charity that works to end hungar in America. They have Families that help families in need. Hence Family to family They also help some communities with seed projects help to grow food to feed themselves. Excellent! They also provide literary access for children to help with improving themselves with reading. They feed the body, the mind and that in turn feeds the soul. Family - to - family also helps with Toys at Christmas, Thanksgiving meals, clothes, and much needed personal care items. They deserve so much credit and I give them a A+A+A+
