Mission: Family services of northeast wisconsin, inc. Is a social service agency providing services that assist people in leading healthy lives and building stronger families and communities. Programs: Healthy families: a voluntary, home visitation program offering intensive support to parents and their children from birth to age 5 in an effort to prevent child abuse and neglect. Brown & door counties. 2,104 welcome-baby visits and 2,774 home visits. 191 families enrolled, 228 children served. Early head start: a federally funded program that works with low-income infants, toddlers, pregnant women, and their families. Services are managed in collaboration with cesa 7, and focus on enhancing children's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. Brown county. 68 children served.
residential treatment: provides intensive services to youth who are unable to remain in their homes or other community-based settings due to extreme behavioral problems. Northeast wisconsin. 43 youth served.
crisis center: provides short-term crisis counseling in person or over the phone for people of any age, 24 hours a day and free of charge. Brown, sheboygan and 12 northern wisconsin counties. 6,491 in-person counseling sessions; 30,489 telephone crisis calls answered.
