Causes: Family Counseling
Mission: The mission of family service society of yonkers is to be the premier provider of human services through a range of programs focusing on home health care, diverse family supports,education and advocacy. Fssy serves individuals and families to enhance their quality of life.
Programs: Home health care: fssy provides culturally-sensitive home-based services for the frail, elderly and the physically disabled through our home health care program which is accredited by jcaho and licensed by the new york state department of health.
guardianship: fssy is appointed by the new york state supreme court in westchester and bronx counties to act as legal guardian for incapacitated adults who are in danger of neglect, abuse and/or financial exploitation.
to provide services to grandparents taking care of grandchildren, to provide after school services to advance the learning experience and children in an educational setting
