After being out of work for some time, my wife working only part-time, being able to keep up with our financial obligations was literally hopeless. My wife and I contacted Family Restoration and Healing Center, Inc. for help and insight. The organization provided us with a wealth of knowledge about organizations that could possibly help with our situation, as well as a list of services available in our area of which we had no prior knowledge. Several suggestions for employment were offered, along with job training availability. We were facing an eviction, which was stopped, and currently I am now employed and picking up the pieces of restoring my family spiritually and financially. The 360° of wholeness received from this organization not only blessed us financially, but helped strengthen our faith, and marriage as well. We need more organizations like Family Restoration and Healing Center, Inc. to renew the faith and strength of those who may have lost hope in hopeless situations.

I have had the privilege of working with Family Restoration and Healing Center, Inc. over the past several years. This organization is very committed to their mission and the communities they serve. Not only do they provide services that fill critical needs of their constituents, their services are of high quality and delivered with compassion. My association with Family Restoration and Healing Center has been most rewarding. I was drawn to the organization after attending one of their workshops a few years ago. It was outstanding, relevant and very professional. Kenneth and Karen Thompson are committed to realize the fulfillment of the mission of their organization. They are people of integrity, who work tirelessly to provide services and programs to hurting people. Additionally, they are involved in the betterment of their community. I've worked with Karen and Ken of Family Restoration & Healing Center a number of times on various projects, that have proven to serve the community with needed health, spiritual information. They have been active in their pursuit to help educate the community about health resources, spiritual growth, mentoring opportunities. Family Restoration and Healing Center works tirelessly to help communities that most need support from local resources to become healthier and live fulfilling lives.
About 2 years ago I attended a 4 hour long workshop for caregivers . Several panels addressed different topics and provided helpful hints and advice .
I was mightily impressed by the quality of panelists and experts. The Center is a treasure box of information material and solutions. If you need help they know where to send you to get it. Their network of participating specialists is tremendous.
The director and staff are compassionate and highly professional. The topics of their workshops and seminars are of present day problems of society and community.
I still profit from having attended the workshop and look fondly back to that experience.
I have seen the work that Family Restoration And Healing Center, Inc. has done within the community and I have to say, I am very impressed. They have a wealth of information to share with the community at large. From health pointers, to seminars for our youth, information on dealing with aging parents and so much more. You can see that they care about people and the issues they face. After attending one of the seminars they held last year, I walked away with some much information on how to handle bullying among our youth. As a grandparent, I was able to take the information I learned from the seminar and share it with my own family. It truly made a difference in how I advised my own grandchildren on how to deal with the topic. Additionally, I was impressed with the warmth of Kenny and Karen Thompson. They truly care about people from all walks of life and the critical issues they face. They work hard to be solution based. Kudos to this dynamic team for the work they do in our communities.
Family Restoration and Healing Center, Inc. (FRHC) is one of the most meaningful community-based, nonprofit organizations in Maryland! I have witnessed the powerful impact the organization has made to numerous individuals and families. Horrific events happening daily remind us of the need for the work to manage mental health. I encourage the organization to continue its push to diminish the stigma associated with mental health.

Family Restoration and Healing Center (FRHC) is a phenomenal non profit organization, which specializes in the wholeness of self, family and overall well being. I have personally been a part of their many workshops on stress, anger management, caring for the community, resume and job skill building, as well as attending the zoombathon they hosted. Whenever I do get the chance to go to the programs that they offer, I always learn much more than what I thought I knew, feel comfortable and safe in my surroundings, and am able to relate to others who have the same story or challenges that I might have. FRHC helped me to realize I'm not alone, and gave me valuable resources that help build and restore me as well as my family. Because of the work that this organization does, I am more confident in myself and my abilities to set, maintain, and achieve personal goals, by using and daily incorporating the freely given life and situational tools, advice, and resources obtained from the workshops.
