It is such a rewarding experience to work with the families and volunteers at Family Promise of Clear Creek. There is an amazing energy and positivity that brings a light to some of the darkest days. These families are often experiencing severe loss and trauma when they arrive in the program. It is incredible to see the transform in them by the time they graduate. They have hope for the future and are so grateful that someone offered a helping hand in their time of need.

Keeping a family together during tough times is so very important. Family Promise of Clear Creek does just that. The family is together - the children are able to attend school like any other child and the parents are able to get themselves together and find gainful employment.
There are expectations - such as no drug use, but as in the real world, rules must be followed.

Family Promise is a unique holistic program that has impacted so many lives in the Clear Creek area. The board is mindful, the Executive Director diligent, and host churches and coordinators faithful. Such a great organization to be a part of and see the fruit from.

I have worked with this organization for several years, have served as a volunteer, met many of its "guests", and have heard what a difference Family Promise of Clear Creek has made in their lives. One of the things I love most about this program is that it not only helps children and families when they most need it, they try to teach the skills and create the right environment so that these families can be self-sufficient in a short amount of time. The board and staff work hard, donate a lot of extra hours, and pour themselves into helping these families. Every dollar donated goes a long way too, since the majority of the "goods and services" the families receive are donated by supporting congregations.
