On November 19,2010, Family Promise of Beaufort County was named an "Angel of the State" by Secretary of State Mark Hammond. Family Promise was chosen for the good work and the best use of funding - 99% of donations and funding goes to program costs- and fulfilling the mission of one homeless child is too many.
