The support to parents and advocacy for children is unlike any organization in Minnesota.
The system that should DO NO HARM traumatizes the very children they are to protect.
The keystone cause is the careless Hennepin County Attorneys office and Ramsey County Attorney's Office. The real damage is caused by their offices. Until new elected officials it will never improve for children.

I have been locked in a very high conflict divorce for over many years. During my long fight to preserve my daughter’s relationship with me I have had false allegations made against me and have endured multiple investigations from CPS. Ultimately, my daughter was taken from me a year and a half ago and my family was torn apart. Having to fight a family court AND a Juvenile court battle simultaneously, I felt overwhelmed. FPF and its founder, Dwight, worked with me to help me through this.

First, FPF provided me critical education through their video series so I better understood how the Juvenile legal system works and specifically how to work with an attorney on my case. Then, they stepped in to work with me to set a strategy and devise tactics to help me to get my daughter back. With mountains of legal bills I could not afford an attorney to work on my case for all of the months ahead. FPF determinedly worked with me to provide critical information and knowledge so I could navigate a complex and sadly corrupt system.

I cannot thank FPF enough for everything they have done for me!

My names Amanda and my son's name is Zayvion. He was legally kidnapped by Minnesota CPS. This organization decided to take my case on as its, "first" case. Because of FPF, my family is still whole. My son was taken a few years ago for false accusations. The founder, Dwight, and the lawyers fought tirelessly for 4 months and reunited my son with his loving family. It should of been easy to get my son back being that we had proof of my innocence, but unfortunately it wasn't. The lawyers were brilliant and knew exactly how to fight against this corruption. I didn't have the financial means to fight for 4 months nor the knowledge of just how much corruption there is in the system. Luckily, i stumbled upon the Facebook page, "stop cps from legally kidnapping children". That is where i found Dwight who told me about this foundation. I couldn't of done this without them. My story was shared across the globe and on many platforms including the news. The details of my story can be found on FPF page or by a simple google search if you want to know more details on how they saved my family from the devastation of separation. There are more families out there needing help like me. My situation isn't uncommon, its the norm. So, if you're looking to donate or volunteer for a "worth-while" cause, I highly recommend looking at the Family Preservation Foundation to donate your time or money to. I've never seen a team so proficient, knowledgeable, and compassionate as the one who helped me save my baby. I'm not only highly pleased with the service i received, but eternally grateful.

Recently I had a meeting with the Executive Director who had returned from a trip to Taiwan so he was jet lagged. He shared with me photos, stories and case studies of the amazing work they are doing. His excitement and passion for his role, organization, and of people helping children was inspiring. I had a great time volunteering at Family Preservation Foundation! Everyone that I met at the organization was truly passionate about their work and saw the good that it would do for children effected all over America. As a volunteer I worked closely with my manager, attending meetings and contributing to projects. I have been a Family Preservation Foundation donor for a couple of years now, because a friend of mine was already a donor. And more people should do it - especially with an organization as trustworthy as Family Preservation Foundation. I became involved after visiting one of their rallies for children rights in foster care, where I felt somewhat hopeless and wanted to do something. It's gratifying, and I know my money is being put to good use. Family Preservation Foundation knows how to get things done, plain and simple. Every organization that raises money will send you things via the mail, etc. - that's what they do. I also work with a wonderful animal shelter and I have an inside view on their fundraising - you have to do those kinds of things to raise money to keep the lights on and do the great work these groups do! If you don't like the mailings, just pitch them - or give them to someone. But giving a donation to Family Preservation Foundation will be the best donation you've ever made. You won't regret it!

Family Preservation Foundation has maintained its focus on the needs of children in real and desperate situations when the media has run out of steam when talking about childhood trauma, government overreach and family separation. In whatever situation they involve themselves, they aim to maintain high standards and integrity. I am also impressed with how they are at the forefront of finding new ways to develop their work through partnerships with other organizations, the media exposure, developments in technology and understanding and engaging their supporters. They have enabled me to support their efforts in ways than just my donations, that use my strengths, time and interests. Their aim has always been to become obsolete in this world. Very impressive. I'm very impressed with Family Preservation Foundation's impact, they really make a difference. And I love that US kids are being helped with family separation issues and not just immigrants. What a life saver!! There is no other organization out there tryin to fight for the civil rights of children and parents other this organization. I would think this would be very common giving the number of annual cases but this does seem to be the case.

I was shocked to learn that parents have no constitutional parent rights and that 9 million American children have been removed from there families in the last 20-years. Something must be done to stop this traumatization of our nations children.

The Family Preservation Foundation provided my family with legal education assistance in our CPS and Foster Care case. They ensured that we were not denied our right to equal justice because of our income statues.

The public defender our case was doing a horrible job defending us, but with attorney education video series on how to work with your attorney we were able to get our attorney to properly advocate for our parental rights, and that of our child. We all was said and done, reunification with our child was quickly completed.

Family Preservation Foundation worked to preserve my parental rights through their professional video education series regarding my child protection case. Their video series was very educational and I learned so much on how to handle my defense of the false allegations in my case. They were also there to answer my educational questions when I needed it most since I was representing myself Pro Se.

As American's we are so naive when it comes to the government and child welfare.

I'm a volunteer for this organization and fully support all of their efforts.

More and more, parental rights are not being upheld in courts. FPF desires to defend and preserve parental rights, and liberties that should be accorded to parents and children in this country within the laws of the United States as it relates the the Child Welfare, Foster Care, Vaccination, Religion, Medical, Education, and other Parental Rearing choices. Nonpartisan, the FPF works through education, advocacy, publicity efforts, and litigation and it has over 11,700 members.

There is a need for more organizations of this nature and I hope I will be able to help them grow.

Currently FPF is fundraising to hire staff attorneys to defend children, their families and to uphold parental rights in America.

I have been a friend and Supporter of Mr. Mitchell for 30 years I have never seen anyone fight so hard for such a great cause selfish less hard-working relentless.

FPF is the nonprofit that you can rely on to keep loving families together.

This nonprofit is known for serving Minnesotans with much-needed assistance in preserving their families. The value of their services is unlike any other provider. Heroes and life savers is how I would describe how they help families and children, FPF fills an enormous gap in Minnesota when families have no other resources for help. The Family Preservation Foundation has given thousands of families hope that these unjust practices by child protection services can be changed ! So many families , including my own , have lost children by unlawfull removal through no fault of their own . The foundation has given us the tools and education to help our attorneys and ourselves to fight for our children . Dwight Mitchell has been a beacon of hope to us all .
