Programs: The community adolescent pregnancy prevention program provides funds for teen pregnancy prevention in appanoose, clarke, davis, decatur, ringgold, wapello and wayne counties in iowa. This includes the school based program draw the line/respect the line, girl talk, parents as teachers home visitations, programming for pregnant and parenting adolescents and a variety of other services. Total served: 1,950evaluation data: the project has demonstrated positive outcomes. Decatur county went from being the 2nd highest teen birth rate in the state of iowa to 47th. Draw the line grades 6-8 has shown from pre/post 56% increase in knowledge, 62% stated that it was easier to know their own limits-where to draw the line. Girl talk pre/post showed a 78% increase in knowledge about puberty. Parents as teachers served 28 teen parents with home visits.
