I cannot say enough positive words about my experience at Family & Children’s Law Center. To say my experience working with Abby & Virginia was incredible is an understatement. Both attorneys are beyond knowledgeable & caring. And finally after a very complex 13yrs they were able to help make incredible positive strides in helping in our family law case. Causes: Crime & Law, Legal Services
Mission: The Family & Children's Law Center enables children and families to enjoy a more successful future by helping them to navigate the legal system. We provide high-quality, low cost legal services and advocate for the needs and rights of children and families.
Programs: Founded in 1985, FACLC is dedicated to helping low-income children and families in Marin Count by providing sliding scale family law, domestic violence, and SIJS predicate order legal services and representation. FACLC strives to provide access to justice for families and children who, due to financial constraints and complex family transitions, would have no other means for representation in the courts. The overwhelming complexity of the legal system is compounded when financial barriers are present. Hit hardest during family transitions are low-income families - especially children.
