Programs: The family advocacy network (fan) is a comprehensive, patient focused program that provides a coordinated response to child abuse and adult sexual assault cases with law enforcement, dhhs, county prosecuters, and healthcare professionals. Fan provides forensic interviews, forensic medical examinations, hair follicle testing, assistance with depositions, and advocacy for victims of abuse or sexual assault. All services provided by fan are at no cost to the victims or their families. Fan also works to increase awareness by offering training to other multi-disciplinary team members and community organizations. In 2015, it is estimated that fan directly served 600 clients and indirectly served an additional 1,200 clients in its 13 county service area.
