Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Family advocacy and parent support groups: organizes and implements groups with parents of children with serious emotional and mental needs to help them deal with stress of parenting sed children. Strives to teach parents through meetings and community resources.
Programs: Roughly 650 different families were served during this program year. Director participated on various committies and identifies and coordinates participation of parents on such committies. Recruited parents and caretakers to participate with related staff and supervisors to provide new coordinators training. Provided crisis intervention for families. Planned and implemented family activities which relate to the mission at hand.
