The Fallbrook Gem and Mineral society is great! I volunteered last summer to paint a mural of the Palomar mountains and the director, Mary, was very kind and useful. She gave all the volunteers tours of the William Pittenger house and of the main museum. She knew a lot about Fallbrook's history. She put a lot of her time and money into this non-profit organization. I spent a lot of time with her last summer and she provided lunch and rest for all of us. And when finished with the project she awarded us all with certificates at an important banquet. This is a good place for people of all ages to volunteer.
