I've been coming here for the past 8 years, as a camper, as a volunteer, as a day time trail rider. I even took my bible study group on a retreat here where we were treated PHENOMENALLY, keeping dinner nice and warm and serving us after everyone else after we were out on trail longer than expected. I can't imagine going to camp anywhere else. And now I've moved across the country, and hope some day I'll be able to bring my own children back some day for a trail! :) Love this place!
I came to the ranch the first time in 1999 as a Girl Scout leader bringing her troop for the Weekend Horsemanship Camp. I fell in love with the ranch. It was absolutely beautiful....all of the land (about 4,000 acres), the horses and all the other animals, the fellowship, the friendships you make, the caring and friendly staff and volunteers, etc. I was approached by Uncle Bill and asked to become a volunteer myself. I jumped at the chance to become part of the ministry here at Faith Ranch. I have been here every since. I started out volunteering my time in the kitchen and worked my way up into the stables. I am now a level 3 riding instructor and trail guide. I love taking people out on trail, but I also love to teach others what I know. I will work in any area of the ministry because I enjoy serving where ever I am needed. There is not one part of Faith Ranch that I like better than the other, although the horses are great, but just being here is a gift. I thank God every day that I found a place like Faith Ranch, to be able to come to and relax at times, pray, have fellowship with others, volunteer (work hard), meet new people, meet new friends, have fun, you name it.
Faith Ranch - a little bit of heaven on earth. I've been visiting Faith Ranch for about 5 years, sometimes as a volunteer but mostly as a trail rider, and I love, love it, love it. When I'm at FR I feel a deep connection with God and nature. The staff and volunteers are extremely friendly, caring. and helpful. Anytime I enjoyed a meal there the food was excellent. And the horses are well mannered and easy to ride. I cannot say enough about FR. I hope I can continue to enjoy spending time there for many more years to come.
