Mission: Currently we are working in the village of garde saline, haiti trying to build a sustainable community. The project for 2017 involved building two public compost toilet, running weekly medical clinic, administering a women's micro loan program, supporting a christian grade school, administering a farmers loan and training program, some children's sponsorships and working to strengthen the garde saline baptist church.

Programs: We did a program that gave 20 local farmers a farm production loan and hired a local agronomist to give training to the farmers in various aspects of more modern day farm techniques such as making compost fertilizer, rotating crops, and diversifying crops. A team of oxen and a plow were purchased and given to the farmers association. Also, an experimental farm was maintained and worked to produce crops that would not need irrigation, but relied solely on rainfall for it's moisture to raise crops.

two four place community compost toilets were built and a community compost site was operated part of the year.

we provided salaries for medical staff and funding for medical supplies, drugs, and medical equipment for a villiage run medical clinic. Clinic is open two days of the week and local users only pay a small fraction of cost to operate

mission trips to meet with leadership council and vendors about progress on current and input on future projects. These trips also included on-site inspections of the projects and individual program participant meetings. Further construction was funded for the partially complete baptist church. A road and irrigation improvement project was funded. Further training and follow-up for the established women microloan program was provided. Three haitian children received sponsorships for medical and educational purposes. Additional leadership training for the existing leadership council was funded.
