Faith for Living provides a unique perspective of Christian principles and how they relate to today’s world. The website provides education in the form of books, podcasts, articles and recommended outside resources that invoke fresh contemplation about long argued themes.

In a world and time where people are constantly wary of unscrupulous organizations taking advantage of people's funds, it's a relief to know that there are people who are really and truly dedicated to strong Christian values attempting to bring them to the rest of the world. Faith for Living is an exceptional example of a moral and visionary non profit and plays an important role in advancing the Word of the Lord!

Faith for Living was born out of a burden to reach sinners like me. The Object of our faith, the Lord Jesus, doesn’t merely save—what a glorious thing that is—but He also sustains the believer through all of the days of our lives. Proclaiming, applying, and multiplying this message of hope is the principle work of Faith for Living.

I fear facing death not as a failure but as succeeding at things that don’t really matter. Francis Chan

This quote has been attributed to many, the latest is Francis Chan. I think it’s been rehashed so many times because it encapsulates a fear that is widespread- that of getting to the end of one’s life and career, taking inventory and realizing that the potential for lasting impact has been squandered on trinkets and temporal pleasures. If we are honest with ourselves, the “epicurean first” lifestyle that is so prevalent in the West invariably leads to a sense of regret that we have over invested in the wrong things and underinvested in the right ones. Or, as Rick Warren has said “we find ourselves climbing the ladder of success only to learn that it is leaning against the wrong wall!”

Into this space enter great nonprofit organizations like Faith for Living. The reason they are “great” is because the score card is radically different! These organizations are intentionally philanthropic, but not simply because of their desire to better the human condition. Rather, these organizations are great because they exist to better the eternal condition of people. While many good nonprofits begin with the strategy of addressing physical needs and relive present suffering, it is their long-term goal and vision that separates the good from the great!

Scripture tells us that Jesus came to bring “Grace upon Grace” (John 1:16.) Great nonprofits understand that grace in this world (the power for sanctification and the impetus for philanthropy) is only valid and powerful because of the eternal Grace we enjoy because of Christ’s death and resurrection!

Faith for Living has impressed upon me the importance of multiplication in making disciples. When I teach others how to make disciples, there is an ongoing result as they do the same. Dr. Milton has taught me in his teaching to watch for opportunities to multiply what The Lord Jesus does through my ministry by showing others how to do it also.
