Fairoaks of Denton is a wonderful organization that assists low-income elderly persons and Veterans. This one of Denton's best kept secret even though there is a waiting list of up to 2 years. One of the regular volunteers for Fairoaks (who is an elderly person herself) said that she visiits senior communities often and Fairoaks is the best she has seen so far and she highly recommends Fairoaks of Denton. That demonstrates there is a dire need for more housing such as this. Community support and donations could make a huge difference to expand the capacity of Fairoaks of Denton.
