Mission: Fair Haven Community Health Care is a not-for-profit primary health care organization dedicated since 1971 to providing accessible health care to the Greater New Have community. We provide comprehensive primary care, from prenatal to pediatric, adolescent to adult, and geriatric too. We also offer behavioral health, dental, and specialty care, as well as parenting programs and other focused health clinics. Our mission is to improve the health and social well-being of the communities we serve through equitable, high quality, patient-centered care that is culturally responsive.
Programs: The general clinic served 18,056 unique patients and handled 73,408 visits in medical/behavioral health and dental for the fiscal year ended june 30, 2017.
wic program provides nutrition education and food benefits for pregnant and lactating women, infants, and children under the age of five. Approximately 1,900 people benefit from this program.
