Mission: The ewga is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991 to provide opportunities for women to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life.
Programs: Golf leagues - provides opportunities to members to participate in regularly scheduled weekly tee times which is one of the best ways to learn the sport of golf or to improve golf skills. Golf leagues provide a venue where members can meet and get to know each other. The madison chapter of ewga offers a variety of summer and fall leagues at various golf courses in the madison area.
golf events - ewga madison offered a variety of events in 2015 included 1) an annual tee-off event which provides the members the first opportunity to register for the current year's golf leagues. At the tee-off event, presentations were given to educate members and prospective members about ewga, golf leagues, clinics, lessons, golf outings, fund events and the annual charity golf outing hosted by ewga madison to benefit a local nonprofit organization.
golf education - ewga madison offers a wide selection of golf lessons, clinics, and other educational offerings to its members. During the golf season, clinics and lessons are offered to members with varying levels of experience. The ewga fairway friends program, which teams experienced members with those new to golf, was offered to all ewga members.
