Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Enriching the lives of women through the game of golf. Connecting women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun
Programs: Ewga held 9 major golfing events for it members to promote and foster a spirit of acceptance, dignity, and respect for career-oriented women golfers. These events consisted of several formats that taught the women different games that they might experience in a business-golf setting. Approximately 200 women attended these events
with the contribution support of in-kind sponsors, ewga conducted approximately 2 clinics and seminars to instruct its members on various aspects of business golf. These events included etiquette of the golf game and business setting on the golf course and in communicating with other professions off the golf course. Approximatley 50 women attended these events. I
corporate sponsors provided food and door prizes for two of the major events during the year. One event was the chapter championship and the other was the charity fundraiser with allowed a contribution of $600 to safe havaen
other programs sponsored by ewga included a kick-off and year-end event, monthly board meetings, weekly league play and participation in both regional and national ewga leadership events.
