Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The executive women's golf association, inc. (ewga) mission is connecting women to learn, play, and enjoy golf for fun and business by providing leadership development and other educational programs, golf instruction, and networking activities for members to improve their leadership abilities. Self-esteem. , amd business skills through golf.
Programs: Golf events and education: held over 100 qualifying golf tournaments nationally for women with over 2,200 participants. This produced 15 semi-final competitions and one national final golf tournament for amateurs. Held numereous programs and classes to teach women how to play and enjoy the game of golf.
chapter and member services: provides numerous benifits to women golfers to encourage them to learn and play the game of golf. Provide assisstance and guidance to the local chapters regarding membership, communication, organization, and events. Works with golf courses to make them more friendly to women and their golf games, from tee placements to hole distances. Most courses are designed for men and the ewga provides a voice to make the courses more acceptable and appropriate for women.
public awarness: the ewga utilizes muliple communication channels including public speaking, radio, and television interviews to promote ewga programs and womens golf. The ewga is represented on numerous golf industry committes to further the ewga's mission and promote womens golf. To educate golf courses on the needs and requiremnts of womens golf.
